Chapter 42 - A friend or a foe part II

As this was happening; down below them; lies the human world. The sudden change of the wind made others panic. Others who could feel the change. Beside her; another tries to change the course of the action. They were abiding their time waiting. Waiting for the time to strike. This particular person was the only one as an elemental. He didn’t know that yet. He thought of himself as a human. He didn’t understand his power. He felt a sudden change in the air. He followed where the change started.

When he reached it, he found himself at death’s door. A door between the living and the dead. Without sniffing in the air, he couldn’t foul the rotten odor that lingers above him. He walked around the park. He narrows his eyes at the sign in front of him.

“ Gellert Park “

The unknown man says under his breath. He tilts his head to the side.

“ Is this where it came from ? “

“ There’s nothing but adults and children “

“ So how do I get the sense that this wasn’t it ? “

The unknown man spoke. He was lost in his own world. He didn’t notice that there were people passing by. To them, they think he was a foreigner. Because he was speaking a language that the people didn’t understand.  He continues to rub his chin back and forth. He was in deep thought. 

“ This is not it ! “

He sighs to himself. A twinkle of the wind brushed into his face. He felt free and alive from it.

“ Is that so ? “

The unknown man spoke. He could hear the whisper of the wind. He didn’t need to blink at all. He turned around and decided to walk away normally. As he was about to do so, he bumped into a group of people that he’s not familiar with.

“ Ouch ! That hurts “

A woman's voice spoke out in a frenzy. The woman fell on her butt.

“ Hey man, watch it ! That’s not how you treat a lady “

A man's voice spoke to the stranger. He looked down on the person that was talking to him. He shook his head. He does not like anyone speaking to him this way. He growled at them. Fierce like a wolf and lion combined. He gritted his teeth at them.

“ I don’t have time to talk to a filthy commoner “

The man spoke to himself under his breath. He tries to play it cool by walking away. But, a human who is naive and powerless stops him midway. He grabbed the strangers by his collar. He faced him head on.

“ STOP!! “

“ YOU CANNOT RUN AWAY !! “

“ APOLOGIZE NOW !! “

The gentleman spoke to him. The group of men who were friends with the gentlemen also spoke at once to him. The unknown man does not like being yelled at. The woman that was on the floor waits. She snickers at the man. She thought that he would apologize to her. But, she was wrong. The unknown man stared at the humans before him.

“ You do not order me around you filthy humans “

“ Keep your hands away from me “

The unknown man spoke. The woman couldn’t understand what he said. She stood up. She walked towards him. She was about to slap him. But, he did not allow her to. One of the bystanders saw that the foreign was struggling with their language. So, the bystander took out her phone. She uses google to help him translate his way of speaking to them. She had already set it up. She uses a microphone on her phone. She secretly placed her phone near his mouth as he spoke.

“ If you got up, then you are okay “

“ Do not blame me for your fall “

“ You did that all on your own “

A strange voice appeared on the phone. It spoke for the foreigners. 

“ Woah the foreigner spoke “

One of the humans says to his friends.

“ Yes, he did. He spoke in English “

Another human spoke after him.

“ No stupid. We understand what he says because of a translator “

The woman spoke out in turns. It was the woman who spoke this time. The one who fell on the floor. The unknown man turned to the person who helped him. He saw a normal human female. He turned to face her. He bowed to her in response. 

“ It is fine. I’m helping you out of kindness “

The same woman with a gentle voice spoke out.

“ Leave the man alone, Joshua. He’s out of your league “

A woman's voice spoke out. She took in front of the stranger. She knew that this group of humans were messing with him. Because he doesn’t understand the language. She glanced at Joshua’s friends.

“ Stop pretending that you hurt yourself Melina “

“ You’re not a five-year-old for god sake “

“ I saw you got up and walk towards him so don’t lie “

“ Everyone saw you isn’t that right Shawn and his groupies ? “

The woman spoke to them. There was venom laced in every word she says. She stared at Melina head on. She wasn’t afraid of her. She’s all words, but no action. She also noticed that Melina doesn’t fight her own battles. She allows her male friends to protect her all the time. The unknown man thanked the human woman who was generous towards him. She nodded. While Melina and her friends were busy speaking to each other, the unknown man disappeared from their sight.

When the unknown man left, the wind saw its master protecting a kind human. So, it was its duty to protect the human in return for their kindness.

“ If you ask me, if you are a friend or a foe, Melina. Then I would say you’re neither a friend to me. Why would I want to be friends with a snobby little brat “

The woman spoke to her with confidence. Melina’s guy friends snicker slightly. She was not happy. She doesn’t like no one to humiliate her.  She tried to walk away, but Melina didn’t want her to.

“ Don’t act tough. You’re just scared that I have friends. And you don’t “

Melina pointed out to her.

“ You’re a loner. You’ll always be. No guy will ever want to date you. You’re nothing but wh*re “

Melina spoke out with venom laced in her words. She saw it coming this way. She had an idea. She pushed her off the street when the car was running. Her guy friends didn’t see it. It was her little revenge. When the woman fell from the push, she twisted her ankle. 

“ That’s enough Melina. Leave the woman alone “

“ You’re being bi*chy today “

A man with black emo hair style and brown eyes spoke.

“ You are beautiful indeed, but you have an evil soul “

One of Melina’s guy friends spoke out. He was going to run after her to save her life. But, Joshua and Shawn stop him from getting himself killed. The people that were passing by took notice of it.

“ Is this how I’m going to die ? “

The woman spoke breathlessly and quietly. She couldn’t stand. Not after that small impact that Melina did to her. High above the sky; the castle that floats in the air watches over the humans. They saw what the humans did. But, they cannot interfere with humans. They sigh.  On the other hand; far away from here; the people in the Wale’s Family household sense a powerful surge. They could hear the cry for help from a mile away. It was a cry from a human woman.

“ What is that ? “

Davina spoke out.

“ You heard it too, little sister ? “

Amelia says to her in response. Davina nodded at her. The strong wind gathers all around. It ushers them. They could feel a strong wind gathered in the room. The wind engulfed their cousin’s whole body. Along with a bright light. It blinded the whole room. Amelia and the others have no choice, but to cover their eyes.

“ What is going on ? “

“ Is this a friend or a foe doing this ? “

Amelia spoke in a gentle, but calm way. The guys felt a change in the air.

“ No, this is the wind spirits doing “

“ It’s reacting to your cousin who’s laying on bed “

Elroy spoke out in a calm manner. Whereas everyone else is in a state of panic. After the flush of the bright light and the wind vanished, the twin sisters Amelia and Davina’s cousin disappeared into thin air. The wind carries her up in the sky. The wind makes sure to cover her scent. So that no one tries to hunt her. The wind spirit was supposed to call its master. But, someone else with the strong wavelength answered for them. The girl’s eyes were still closed. The wind spirit decides to change her clothes. The wind spirit decided to give her clothes that felt light as a feather.

Time stopped for a few minutes. This gives them time to reach there without being suspicious. The nature in the human world welcomes the girl. They could feel how powerful she could be. The wind takes her to where the situation took place. 

“ Is this where you are sending me ? “

The girl spoke to the wind. It brushes through her face.

“ I see. So you took me to this Gellert park then “

The wind spoke to the girl. 

“ Very well I will help. Since you are generous about it “

The girl spoke to the wind. She gave a slight nod and smile to the wind. Time moves forward. As time moves, so do countless birds and butterflies gathered in one spot. The spot where the woman was in a horrible state. The people that were at the scene were there. They made a gasp sound. The sound of being surprised. They try not to miss this by not blinking. But, that would be deemed so hard on them. No one made a sound. They just watch another human being on the floor. They didn’t come and try to save her. Who wouldn’t anyways?

As quick as a thunderstorm, the birds and the butterflies continue to flutter around. The group of people had their eyes widened in shock. Especially Melina. She couldn’t believe this was happening.

“ Is this a bad omen you guys ? “

Joshua and Shawn asked at the same time. They looked at Melina.

“ Don’t look at me. I didn’t do anything  “

Melina spoke in denial. She was a foe in the eyes of others. People who also were victims of her bullying ways. The wind became so strong that it brushed off to Melina. 

“ The wind is strong don’t you think so, Bailey ? “

Shawn turned to face him. 

“ Yes it is strong indeed. The wind is not always this strong “

Bailey turned his head to him as he spoke.

“ What did you do Melina ? It seem like you anger a god “

Bailey shouted at her in a cautious tone of voice. He stepped away from her. As he does so, the wind flip her skirt up.

“ Kyahh ! “

Melina squealed. She didn’t know that it was this windy. If it was this windy, she would have worn jeans. She listens to the weatherman on tv. Her guy friends snicker quietly. They saw what she wore underneath it. They scoff at it. They didn’t want to see it. They sighed. And they closed their eyes.

“ Melina, why are you wearing a teddy bear panty on ? “

“ That’s not even attractive at all. Are you still a five-year-old ? “

Bailey spoke to her with malice. He didn’t like how Melina treated people. On cue, there was a sound of giggles and laughter in the air. It was the sound of a female voice. Bailey could hear it. The others couldn’t. They were fighting and arguing among each other. In his eyes, Bailey saw a beautiful girl appearing out of now. The birds and butterflies gathered towards her. She extended her hand out. The birds fly on her fingers. And one of the butterflies flies towards her other hand.

“ Look you guys “

Another friend called out to his friend. They turned to face him.

“ What did you see Jameson ? “

Joshua asked this time. They followed where he was pointed at. They turned their heads to where it was. Jameson wasn’t the only one who could see the girl. He and Bailey were in a trance. They saw a beautiful girl. She was humming a song. It was a clear song at that. Anyone who hears her humming will feel calm and serene. The car was almost where the woman was. The girl bent down to the woman.

“ Are you alright there ? “

An angelic voice spoke to the woman. A woman who was scared for her life. The woman heard a voice. She turned around. She saw two foot near her. She lifts her head up. She saw a beautiful girl. She was very gorgeous. She thought she was of the same age as her. But, she was younger. The beautiful girl extended her left hand out to her.

“ Here, can you stand there, Miss…? “

The beautiful girl spoke out to her.

“ Miss, are you a friend or a foe ? “

The beautiful gently spoke to her. She was calm like a button. She didn’t care if the car was moving fast.

“ If you don’t hurry, you’ll let that mean girl get away from hurting you “

The girl spoke out to her. The woman accepted the girl’s help. The girl gently pulled her up slowly. She didn’t want her to get hurt again. She turned her head to slowly glance at Melina. She could see that evil look on her face. 

“ That person that pushes you is you her friend ? “

The girl asked her. The girl could sense the woman’s aura. Her eyes were closed. She uses her right hand to touch her chin. She lifts the woman’s chin up to look at her.

“ Don’t mind her. She will get what is coming to her . “

The woman starts to breathe in and out. She couldn’t help being closed up to a beautiful girl.

“ Am I making you nervous there, Miss..? “

The girl could feel the woman’s face burning up like she’s having a fever. But, she felt embarrassed. She took a deep breath before answering her.

“ m-m-my n-n-name I-i-is Kiana “

The girl smiled gently towards her. She could feel her stuttering her words.

“ Don’t feel shy around me. I could tell that you are indeed a friend “

“ I could sense that you have a good aura around you, Miss Kiana “

The beautiful girl spoke to her calm.

“ Can you walk on your own back to the street or do you need help Kiana ?“

Kiana stared at the girl. They were eye to eye level contact. The birds continue to swarm around the girl and Kiana.

“ Don’t be afraid. The birds aren’t here to hurt you Kiana “

“ They are worried for your safety “

The girl gently rubbed the bird that was resting on her shoulder. Her left hand was preoccupied by Kiana’s hand. She raised her right hand. The bird that was on her shoulder flew towards her right wrist.

“ You did a great job, my little bird “

“ Thank you for letting me know if the danger “

The birds were chirping. The girl whispers quietly to one of the birds. They understood. They fly towards the girl with the skirt. The guys that were there stepped back away from Melina.

“ Timber, the bird is coming here “

Jameson called out to the guys. Melina wasn’t quick enough. The bird turns their bottom towards her. The countless birds fire at her like she was a target.  The others that saw stepped further away from her as well. They could smell a very horrible smell. The birds didn’t miss at all. They fired countless bullets  with their stinky poop on her. Melina screamed.

“ What the — “

“ Ewww the birds just pooped on me “

Melina screamed at the top of her lungs. The others hold their laughter. The guys try not to laugh. But, they failed. Laughter filled the air. The butterflies came to swarm Kiana and the girl once more. 

“ Is that so ? “

The butterfly that landed on her nose. It spoke to her. 

“ Thank you for telling me “

“ Go on, fly away from here. I don’t want you to have a broken wing “

On cue, the birds and the butterflies swarm high above the heads of the humans. They know not to poop on the other humans. The humans that didn’t do anything bad to Kiana.
