Roommate

At this point, Jonathan was pretty sure he forgot something else. He got his locker keys and dorm keys as well. He looked at his dorm keys for awhile and told himself he would probably cry about it later. He sighed and headed down the hall to find his locker, trying to avoid everyone so he won't have to be that pitiful kid picking up his books again. He found and opened his locker, putting in the books he won't be using until later on. He did wonder why they had lockers when they had dorms but he guessed it was because the dorms weren't big enough for everyone's books. With that settled, he headed to his next class. He definitely wasn't excited for any of the classes despite it being the first day in this school. It took him a long while to find his dorm after school was over. He had walked up and down the stairs of the dorm building just trying to find for his room number. He let out a tired groan when he finally found it on the third floor in a quiet corner. Nobody was walking around there so he didn't think to check it earlier. What a wrong move that proved to be. He unlocked the door and peeked in. It was dark and he could tell the curtains were closed. He touched the wall until he found the switch, flicking it on. He blinked and let his eyes adjust themselves before the double decker bed came into view. The lower bunk had clothes dumped on it while the top seemed untouched. The same went with the two tables connected to one another on the other side of the room. Stuff filled one table while the other was left empty. He walked over and put his bag down before taking a seat as well. He wondered if his roommate was notified of his coming and that was why the place was cleared or... the other might just be nice enough to take one spot. He rubbed his neck and sighed. Before he could recall what he had forgotten, the door that he had left open was opened even wider. A slightly buff and average height, Asian looking teenager rushed in, spotting Jonathan at once. He stopped and stared at the other for a moment before shutting the door behind him. "You didn't touch anything, right?" He spoke in a slightly accented tone but his pronunciation was on point. Jonathan shook his head, slightly bewildered by the situation. The male kept his eyes on him for a bit as he walked to his table, slowly clearing his stuff before peeling his eyes away. "Uh... Hey. I'm Jonathan... uh... your new roommate?" He said, thinking it would be better to not get on the other's bad spot. The other turned to him, seemingly calmer and nodded. "Yeah. Hey. I'm Shou," he replied in a hurry. Jonathan raised a brow. "Am I bothering you?" "No, no, not at all. It's just, I haven't had a roommate for a good year so my things are a mess," he replied and finished arranging everything on the table. It definitely was much neater now to Jonathan's surprise. He watched as Shou turned over and started to clear his bed as well, carefully folding everything and stuffing them back into the drawers. That was when it hit the other. "Oh no. I forgot my suitcase," he said and groaned after, rubbing his temple. So this was the foreboding feeling. Shou turned to look at Jonathan, a little confused but seemed to understand after all. "Left it on the bus? That's not good, man. It only comes back in the morning," he replied and shut his drawer before folding his blanket. Jonathan groaned and got up. "I know.... Um... You don't happen to have spares, do you?" He asked, just in case as to which Shou shook his head. He let out another groan and rubbed his temple. "Is there anywhere nearby that I can get some disposables?" "Well, we can't go off campus until the first of every month but there is a convenience store downstairs. But I don't think they have disposables. I guess it's worth checking it out," Shou said instead. Jonathan nodded, feeling a little less anxious but only trying to keep himself at a reasonable level since he couldn't get his hopes up too much. He stood there for a moment before realising Shou probably wouldn't show him the way. He sighed and got his wallet before heading out by himself. He made sure to bring his dorm key along and also locked the door before he headed downstairs. He wasn't sure where it was but he figured he did notice it when he was walking towards the dorms. He found it easily and walked in, quickly scanning the shelves for disposables. It took him awhile to look everywhere but there were none to his dismay. He couldn't possibly ask Shou to lend him one since he doesn't have extras. He guessed he just had to wear this one again until he get his suitcase back tomorrow. He turned around, flinching when someone was right there. He sighed in relief that he didn't knock into them before the starting to get real familiar hair came into view. "Hey," Jonathan managed to say in a slightly strained voice, making the other boy turned. He offered a small side smile which made Jonathan felt an uneasy thump in his chest. What was that? "Hey. Fancy meeting you here," the boy replied in his usual voice. He noticed Jonathan's hands were empty and raised a brow. "Not getting anything?" "Um... I actually... can't find what I'm looking for so.. I guess I'll just go," he said hurriedly and awkwardly. No, no, don't even think about asking him. He side stepped away from the boy who leaned against the shelf slightly. That does not look like something straight out from a magazine, stop thinking, Jonathan. Just move. He's not even in the leather jacket that made him look like a supermodel. Chuck said to stay away, remember? Maybe.
