The next few weeks fly by in a blur of text messages, phone calls, and dates. Emma and Tom are inseparable, spending as much time together as they can despite their busy schedules.
One evening, Emma invites Tom over to her apartment for dinner. She's nervous about cooking for him, but she wants to do something special for him.
As they sit down to eat, Tom looks at Emma with admiration in his eyes. "This is amazing," he says, taking a bite of the lasagna she's made from scratch.
Emma can't help but feel a sense of pride as she watches him enjoy her cooking. She's always loved cooking, but she's never had anyone to share it with before.
After dinner, they cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. Emma rests her head on Tom's chest, feeling safe and content in his arms.
As the movie ends, Tom turns to her and takes her hand. "Emma, there's something I need to tell you," he says, looking at her with a serious expression.
Emma feels a sense of apprehension as she waits for him to continue. Is he going to break up with her? Has he met someone else?
But then Tom smiles, and she feels a sense of relief wash over her. "I love you, Emma," he says, looking at her with warmth and tenderness.
Emma's heart swells with emotion as she looks back at him. "I love you too, Tom," she says, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
They kiss, and Emma feels like the world falls away. In that moment, nothing else matters except the two of them, together.
As they part, Tom looks at her with a twinkle in his eye. "So, what do you say we go on a trip? Just the two of us."
Emma feels a thrill of excitement. A trip with Tom? It sounds like a dream come true.
"Where should we go?" she asks, feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.
Tom grins. "I was thinking...Paris."
