(Malory)     “Right on time,” I say, smirking.   Adrien is sitting on the leather couch in the cafe when I arrive –it’s Sunday evening.     “Punctuality is important,” says his know-it-all self.   I sit beside him and rest my bag down. “I’m just gonna go get myself a drink before we start, okay?”     “Sure,” he replies, taking out his notebook.   I get into the line.   Today, Adrien and I will be assessing what topics he’s having trouble understanding in a couple of subjects at school.
