Chapter 36The demons filtered into the smoke-filled, subterranean cavern from various ports of passage, descending in balanced proportion about the dark, damp place. Landing atop outgrowths of rock, in shadows, intermixed with the haphazard group of well-armed Jupitarians standing around, they flitted about the huge fire in the center of the cave, with eyes glittering, evil smirks on their foul lips, their scaled wings and claws decorating the environ.
