Chapter 39The victory on Ulstra was slow in coming, but nevertheless inevitable. Dammen had given the Inton nation an ultimatum he knew they would dare not breach. The Intons knew their Kaanig would not hesitate to use force against them if they didn"t concede and restore the water rights to the smaller villages surrounding their own massive cities, five of which lay along the fertile Raton Delta of Harvon Nesta. As Dammen and several of his men waited for morning, they hunkered about a large bonfire the Hemenek villagers had made for them, feasting on the many delectable dishes the native women had prepared especially for them.
