“Mate” Drew said as he shifted and rushed towards Dennis. Dennis backed away in fear as he saw a big silver wolf charging towards him. Everything was going so fast that I could hardly process what was going on. I rushed to Dennis who was already hot on his heels, trying to run away, while Ethan and father shifted to stop Drew from his crazed pursuit.
“Dennis stop, it's okay” I called out as I ran after him. He didn't listen and kept running out of the hall. When he got to the door, he suddenly stopped and his bones shifted and he turned into a bird a few seconds before taking off. I staggered to a stop as I stared at him in shock.
Dennis wasn't human.
