We drove in silence from the pack in the wee hours of the morning on our way to Bullard. I had taken one of the pack cars since Dennis car was burnt to ashes to prevent it from being traced. Father had suggested that we take some warriors along in case of an attack but I declined because it could cause suspicion and I didn't want any unnecessary deaths.
