I had never been to a royal party before, especially ones that reeked of so many humans. The crowd was unbelievably large that I couldn't help but wonder how Atlanta has so many humans and is able to contain them with their small place on the map.
Well, so far there was nothing unusual, no smell of vampires around, just humans and maybe Faes since I couldn't smell them. I wasn't bothered by them because they weren't the enemy, the vampires were. Cobble had said the blood gem could turn anybody into an angel and do other extraordinary things, something that still told me there was also another reason why the vampires are after it.
Regardless, I made sure to stick to Dennis in case something fishy happens. Now that I was disguised as a human, the vampires might come looking for him to ask
