I looked at Kim and smiled. She sipped her juice slowly and looked at me.
"Hi" I said and she smiled.
"Alex, I'm great and you?" She asked, returning the smile.
"I'm obviously doing great, so what do you know about Lisa?" I asked without thinking of my question. Of course, she would know a lot about her cousin.
"Lisa's my cousin, she's a nice lady and very outspoken." She answered.
"She does have a boyfriend, right?" I asked.
"Aren't you her boyfriend?" She asked back, confused.
"I mean, huh, what I actually meant was that, huh, is she cheating on me?" I asked, sluttering.
"I don't think she's having an affair but she can actually do that, you're not officially engaged to her." She answered.
