Lisa's POV
I didn't know what to say!
My heart seemed to beat quickly, I looked at James, he smiled back at me expecting a reply. "James, I don't....."
Alex walked towards us and James quickly stood up, he hid the ring in his pocket and frowned.
"What's going on, I saw you kneeling down." Alex asked, concerned.
"Nothing, I was apologizing to Lisa for everything I've done to her, I want her to forgive me." He lied.
"What have you done to her?" Alex asked.
James frowned, I knew he depended on me to save him. I hated being stuck in a love triangle.
"He wanted us to apologise to you for making you angry, I personally wanted to apologise to you for coming late to work." I lied and looked at James's face.
He looked at me dumbfounded. He was certainly not going to apologise to Alex.
