Aydan's POV
I smiled looking at the girl who was eating the hamburger that I brought. I know that she's hungry but not the type of person who would eat if she's hungry. She would eat her meal when she was about to faint, I guess.
I know her. She's the girl that I met at the restaurant. The Thai green tea girl.
She seems like forgotten about me. Yeah, she saw hundreds of customers every day and the last time we saw each other was maybe weeks ago.
I was following her since the class ended but I stopped after I saw a guy who was also in the same class sitting next to her near the dining hall.
I noticed that she was eating slowly. Very intelligent but if I was her friend, I would get tired since I have to wait for her.
"Hey, I don't have any water for you". I said as I looked around me.
She shook her head with a smile and puffy stuffed cheeks. "It's fine". She mumbled.
I chuckled secretly and shook my head. She's beautiful, more beautiful than the first time I saw her.
"Where are you from?". She asked.
She wasn't in the class when I introduced myself this morning.
"Korea"
She nodded.
Oh... not like the others, I guess.
I awkwardly rubbed my nape.
I can't flex or show a lot to this girl. She shows no emotions at all.
She crumbled the burger wrapper and put it in the paper bag to throw it away.
"I'm not that bothered though. There are a lot of rich people here, I'm used to them". She smiled.
"I'm here with a scholarship. I'm not from a wealthy family and I don't even know how to be fashionable. That's why I don't have many friends here, I only know some of them from my high school". She uttered and I stared at her face.
I sighed and nodded my head.
"But you have a boyfriend right?". I uttered and she frowned her beautiful brows.
"Me?". She asked.
That guy??
I nodded and she chuckled sweetly.
"I don't think I have time for that plus, I'm not the most beautiful here". She smiled while looking in front of her.
You're beautiful. What makes you think that way?
I thought while looking at her even though she wasn't looking at me at all.
"What about that guy from our class?".
I want to know... GOD
She pouted her lips as she was thinking about something.
Cute.
"Drake?". She asked and she turned to look at me. My heart dropped.
Finally, you look at my handsome face.
"That's his name?". I raised my brows and she nodded cutely.
"Drake is my friend from the high school. We're not that close but yeah, enough to talk with". She explained and I nodded.
But I guess he likes you...
"Oh yeah?". I asked and she nodded.
I chuckled darkly. Didn't know why but if he was here right now, I would cut his head off his body.
I looked at her who was not looking at me anymore. I've never felt like this, am I not handsome enough? s**t.
"So what are you doing here?". She asked.
"study?". My dumbass couldn't understand the meaning.
She giggled while touching her lips with her smooth-looking hand.
"I mean, why did you move here". She said while smiling with her white teeth showing.
"Ohhh". I rubbed my nape as an embarrassment.
I chuckled.
"We have to take care of some business here". I answered.
"Oh, that's great...you should help your parents too, in the end, you're the one who is going to take care of the business. You should learn from now on". She lectured.
How did she know that all I did was sleep and eat at home?
Ouch !!
"How about you?". I asked, trying to change the topic.
She smiled and sighed right after.
"We have a restaurant and I'm also helping out since my brother is working as a doctor at the central hospital". She shrugged.
"Ohh... It must be interesting". I smiled and she nodded.
"Meeting new people every day is fun but exhausting as well. You have to stick with the stupid phrase where 'customers are always right' ". She explained
I laughed as she looked quite stressed while explaining it.
"I'd like to go there too". I said softly and she smiled.
"Sure". She answered.
Maybe I'm right... she didn't even remember me.
