In a race against the setting sun, Selene ran as fast as she can the moment she stepped out of the bus. She was gasping when she finally arrived at the Vondeer’s manor, sweating like crazy, as she stopped to catch her breath.
After taking a stone path, she pauses near a clearing. She scanned the surroundings, checking if there were any guards lurking around. Thankfully, there wasn’t any at that time, same as when she left.
She quickly moves to the nearby bushes to hide before fishing out the piece of paper from her pockets. It was the one Lucas gave her. She traced a finger on the map to let her eyes scan it faster.
