ANOTHER NORMAL DAY

When I saw the facial reaction of one of the members of the board which I came across, I saw a worried business executive. Somehow, at that time, I felt the weight on Mr. Lino's shoulders. I had a feeling that things would get exciting in the next few days, so I decided I needed to enjoy peaceful and worry-free days while I still can. The first thing that came to my mind was my favorite foods. I was craving chocolate cake, so I drove by a cake shop and I also made sure to buy 2 milk teas for myself.

I am a kind of person who enjoys being alone. I even decided to be a bachelor forever. Having a partner and kids were just nuisances for me.

Upon reaching home, I freshened up, then sat down on my couch and laid down in front of me my snacks for some movie binge. Suddenly, my phone rang, so I needed to pause the movie.

It was my secretary. He told me that one of the board of directors would want to squeeze into the schedule of the CEO, it was regarding the proposal of The Caran.

I asked him if they requested a date, and when he told me about the date, all I could do was to give a heavy sigh. I told him that I could not decide about that matter. I instructed him to communicate with Mr. Lino if he consents to squeeze them in, I have no authority in the matter since the CEO will be busy for the rest of the month.

I placed my phone on the center table and turned back to the TV to resume the movie. I was already watching the scene where there was a pile of wood that would fall over a person in the movie. For a minute I felt strange, it seemed like a pile of wood would fall over me, it was like I was in VR mode.

As a reflex, I covered myself with a throw blanket for the couch. I felt something hit my head. I covered my head with my arms, then as soon as I was certain there were no falling unknowns anymore, I carefully removed the cover and tried to get a peak.

I was surprised to see that I was covered with hay. I tried to check my head if it was still intact, then I got off the pile of hay and checked if there were any concussions on my body.

I was in my pajamas, I tried to cover myself with the couch blanket that I had with me. I roamed around and found myself somewhere near a horse. The last time I encountered horses, it was unpleasant, so I tried to distance myself from them. I kept walking in my furry slippers, and I arrived in a place full of people which seemed like a market. It was dawn and people were busy. I stood at the corner of the market beside a store and thought for a while, that was the only time I realized I was dreaming. All along I thought it was real, everything seemed to be real, but considering my outfit and theirs, I do not belong there.

The market looks familiar, and I recalled that it was the market where I tailed someone I named "Princess dagger". She was someone I got to encounter in one of my blockbuster dreams.

I went off the road to go somewhere else since that place was a bit familiar. I had been there before in my previous dreams, so I tried to check if it existed in this dream. That was the secret entrance to the room of Princess dagger.

I found it in the exact location where I remembered it was indeed.

I looked around to make sure the area was clear, then I went near the small entrance and tried to sneak in. I was unable to open its gate since it was locked.

I decided to go back to the road and was not able to notice a herd of cattle rushing towards my location. I turned back and ran, but I tripped on one of the roots of a nearby tree. It was too late for me to get up and run. The next thing I saw was, it was a stampede. All I did was to cover my head with my arms and wish to get out of that dream. At that moment, I thought I was going to die, but they just passed through me.

I stood up and, to my surprise, a horse was there. We were facing each other. I just remained calm and stood still, the horse was also still, and it seemed like it was looking at me, his head was moving as if he was waiting for me to pat its head. To the contrary, I slowly moved backward away from him, but he was also taking a step at a time trying to follow me.

When I had enough space for the horse, I saw someone on it. I was frozen for a couple of seconds since I thought I was in danger. I was afraid that one of the soldiers had seen me. I was waiting for that person to speak and ask me anything, then I realized that the person on the horse wearing a hoodie cloak was princess dagger.

To my gladness, I spoke at the same time, raising my hands and waving them,

“What a surprise! How are you doing?”

I got no reply from her, just like the first time I met Lady dagger, I couldn’t get through to her. I do not know what she was thinking. She was just there, looking at the herd of cattle. I moved to her side, waving both my hands. She could not see me still. To my disappointment, I looked away for a second and looked back at her. The moment she removed her hood, I just stood still in amazement. She was so gorgeous.

I could not help my eyes, I traced her down with my eyes, from her brows to her eyes to her neck. Then to her chest, down to the hollow between her breasts.

“These eyes are so sinful,” I muttered and shook my head.

Princess dagger commanded her horse to ride back. I thought she was heading to the market, but I presume she was heading to the castle. The market was on the left side of the road.

Without getting any answer from her, I thought maybe I was again invisible to everyone’s eyes. I ran after her, but we were stopped when we heard an explosion. She led her horse in the direction where the loud noise came from. Seeing that she was heading towards a dangerous place, I shouted "NO".

This time no voice could be heard. I tried to shout again, and again, and since it seemed like I was voiceless, I ran after her and shouted again, “No!”.

I saw men riding on their horses coming in. They seemed like they were not the royal guards since they did not have that uniform, but they looked like they were ready to attack with their swords.

Everyone was running from all directions; panic was all I could see. I tried to search for Princess dagger. The next thing I knew was a pail of water was coming my way.
