HELPLESS

After Andree's 21st birthday of which she was re-introduced to the real thing needed to be dealing about. Since Andree has already understood that she was a werewolf, she would always ask Cesar for all out sparring, he would require him to show his maximum strength. It was a week of doing the real training that she came to notice that Cesar has been preoccupied lately she did not mind asking him since she was used to him responding in silence, she was used to not getting an answer from him. 

Since Andree had already graduated from college, he was trying to focus more on training and knowing herself. One day, he heard someone knocking at his room door, it seemed like it was in a hurry, so she hurriedly got off her bed and as soon as she twisted the knob, the door swiftly opened wide. her speedy reflexes were had made her dodge the door, if not it could have hit her head.

She checked who was the culprit, to her surprise it was Cesar. He was carrying a gym bag fully packed and in his gym outfit. 

She asked, "What? isn't this too late? it is already 6PM, duh!"

"Do not Duh me young warrior! I have prepared a special training for you, look up the internet." He said, "come on!" he added excitedly.

"What do I have to look up for specifically? She asked feeling lazy.

"What happened to you?" Cesar asked with furrowed brows. he did hand signs; he pointed his hand in his head telling Andree to use his mind.

"Sorry." Andree responded then she tried reading his mind, he was talking about the blood moon that will happen later that evening.

"What are both arguing about?" Belinda hollers, she added, "I have prepared a special meal for both of you for your trip." 

"You told her we will be gone?" she whispered. 

"I won't answer you, try reading her mind" Cesar answered.

"You know I don't do that to you guys, it is intended for enemies, I value your privacy" she answered back while packing her things.

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "That's your ability, not mine, you are the only one who have the control over it, it is up to you." he added, "But still, I am not going to tell you."

Andree rolled her eyes as a response to Cesar, as she completely packed her things she headed outside the room and said, "Come on now, 

Belinda came up to her handed her a coin, with hole on it, it seemed like the coin was used as a pendant. she said, "I have a post birthday present for you my dear, " she added, " I know you are fond of collecting stuff that were seemingly old, so I think you would like it."

Andree having her gym bag on her right arm, she hugged Belinda tight with her left arm, "Hmmm I think it would make a good pendant. Right Cesar? "

Cesar said in response, " I agree, you know I have here that might look good with it." he stretched his arm with his fist close between Belinda and Andree while smiling and said, "Here it is!  A stainless necklace, SO what do you think?"

Belinda was not able to keep her gladness, Andree was able to notice it That made her go along with the moment. She placed her things on the floor then she took both the coin and pendant then she combined it and put them on her neck. She was also delighted of the gifts she got that she held the pendant coin and showed it to the couple as if it was a medal. 

Cesar headed first to the car to pack their things while Andree was left with Belinda, Belinda held Andree's hands tight and said in a soft voice, "You deserve it child. go on now enjoy your trip."

In front of Belinda, Andree was smiling, she picked up the remaining things to bring to the car and while on her way out of the house she just notice what Belinda said, " You deserve it child." her brows furrowed as if she was wondering as to what was that for, she tried to read her mind, but Cesar Hollers and said "Come on now! we need to be there on time."

She boarded the car and waved Belinda goodbye. 

Andree just knew that they will be having a trip to a location where they could view the Blood Moon for that evening. 

While on their way to the location, Andree opened up a topic, she said, "I am always tempted to ready you mind guys, I just felt it was not right." 

Cesar responded, "You have been reading minds since you were a kid, so what is the difference? “he waited for her to answer, he saw Andree was seemingly realizing that her ability was not meant to intrude. "You have your abilities, use them in a right way. that is just it, if you are using it not to harm or anything, no reason for you to feel bad. You will disappoint you ancestors if you just put it to waste."

" Hmm? Why drag my ancestors into this conversation? she added, "Ok, Ok I know what you mean."

"You have not faced any of your enemies yet, Andree. always remember, use everything you have, everything you can to always be ahead of them in any way you need to be." He saw that Andree was going to answer back, he added, " Hold up! let me finish. These are not my words; these are your father's. Remember, he was you mother's guardian so you know that in his position he has been in circumstances where he needed to use everything he could as a guardian to the Paglaum's Alpha bloodline."

"Sorry" the only thing Andree was able to say.

They have reached the place, Cesar stopped the car and alighted then he secured everything inside the car. After making sure everything was ok, he told Andree to get out of the car to see the spectacular view of the blood moon.

When Andree saw it, she was so delighted, Cesar asked Andree to take off her bracelet and give it to him, she did what Cesar asked. Upon handing over her bracelet, Cesar released a powerful punch and hit Andree in her mid-body, she literally flew and landed meters away from where she was.

Andree felt the pain of the powerful blow and she was also feeling something else, it was a similar pain, then she remembered, the night of her 21st birthday. 

she was startled when she saw Cesar standing in front of her in a blink of an eye. She could not speak because of the pain; she could not even hit Cesar. she heard Cesar say, "What are you going to do now, young Heir?" then she just saw his fist heading straight to her face, Cesar was punching her without any reservations, Andree could not move because of the pain.

Cesar's punches were powerful at the same time with no end, he was using his speed, one punch and Andree would be thrown, then he would go after her and give her some punches again. 

Finally, Cesar halted the attacks, he knelt to reach Andree and then he placed his hands on her neck a then pinned her against a tree, Andree could not move, she felt choked and at the same time the pain that was seemingly tearing her flesh apart grew into an unbearable pain.

Cesar was slapping Andre saying, "fight it! fight me! do not let your father down, do not let your entire clan down. What are you doing?" "Do not be a disappointment to everyone! Andree!" he added.

Andree was trying to compose herself; she was trying to use his mind ability to control the pain she felt, eventually, she managed to hold on Cesar's arm that was choking her, she accidentally touches the coin pendant. Something happened which she was not able to believe her eyes.
