Chapter 10

Trinidad’s POV

My back hit the bed with a soft thud and a few seconds later, a hard body pressed into mine on top of the bed, it did not take long for warm lips to find mine, Sean was kissing me like his life depended on it and I was kissing him like I had waited my whole life to kiss him.

I knew that I was making a big mistake and doing this was against everything I was taught but right now, I was having a very hard time remembering exactly what I taught, all I knew was that I was enjoying the feelings that this wonderful man was making me feel.

He was tugging at my gown, trying to get it off and I was quick to help him, I reached for the zipper and pulled it down, I sat up on the bed along with Sean, somehow we had not broken the kiss and continued kissing wildly.

He pushed the gown off my shoulders and that was the only time, our kiss broke, he immediately placed his lips on my bare shoulder and began placing soft bites and kisses, I bit my lips to hold back the moan that threatened to escape my lips.

His hands had somehow pushed the gown all the way down and I was sitting in just my bra, his hands was doing things to my breasts that made me want to scream his name.

“You are beautiful, so beautiful” he whispered against my hair.

I could not even reply because his hand somehow its way between my legs and was doing something that drove me completely and absolutely mad with passion and lust.

He kept doing what he was doing and it was not long before I came undone in his arms, I fell to the bed with my legs quivering and my body feeling like jello, he lay beside me and cradled me in his arms whispering sweet nothings in my ears.

All I could do was bury my face in his chest while trying not to think about the fact that I was supposed to kill him soon.

Sean’s POV

I woke up to find that I was alone on the bed, I sat up quickly wondering where Amelia had vanished to, perhaps she was taking a shower, I stood up from the bed and walked in the direction of the bathroom, I felt relief when I heard the shower running.

A smile crossed my lips as I knocked on the door “Hey Beautiful” I said.

“I thought you were still asleep” she said from behind the glass door.

“Just woke up and I could not find you so I decided to look for you around the house” I said, for some reason, I could not wipe the smile off my face as I spoke to her.

“You should return to bed, I will join you soon” her voice said to me.

A smile of mischief spread across my face “Why don’t I join you in there instead? I could really do with a bath as well” I said.

Silence filled the air and then finally she said “No you can take your bath after I leave”

I felt a stab of disappointment when she said this “Do you have to leave? I was thinking that perhaps you could stay and we spend the entire day in the room and do something fun” I said in hopes that I could convince her to stay.

All of a sudden the glass door slid open and she stepped out with a towel wrapped around her heavenly body, her hair was wet and stuck to her shoulders, I did not have the time to admire her beauty before she came to stand before me, I stepped back when I saw the flashing anger in her eyes which I could not understand.

“Can you stop talking please? Every word that comes out of your mouth confuses me so just shut and listen to me, from now on, I will do all the talking” she said angrily.

I tried to understand why on earth she was so angry but I came up completely and absolutely blank, deciding to just go slowly with her and finally grasp what she was saying, I raised my hands up in a show of surrender and said “Okay, so I am really, really confused right now because I have no idea why you are so angry at me, did I do something wrong?”

“That’s the problem, I have no idea what you did wrong right and it is driving me absolutely crazy” she said angrily.

For a split second, I was not sure whether or not to smile or ask her what the hell she was saying “I am sorry but I am really confused right now, I have no idea what’s going on, do you mind telling me what’s wrong or something like that?” I said to her.

I watched as she took long calming breaths and I tried really hard not to think about how hot this small woman was looking right now, though it was really hard since all I wanted to do right now was gather her in my arms and make her scream as she had done last night but I had to focus on the issue at hand right now and that was finding out what was wrong.

“Sit down on the bed and make sure you give me answers to all the questions I am going to ask you, one mistake and I swear I will damn every stupid thing I feel for you and get the job done once and for all” she said angrily.

Well I was beginning to think that this whole conversation was sounding extremely weird but I decided to be calm and so how it unfolded.

I walked over to the bed and sat down on it “So what questions do you have for me exactly Amelia? I am going to answer every question you ask me, I promise so just calm down okay” I said trying to infuse as much warmth as I could into my voice though I was beginning to find the whole situation creepy.

She grabbed a chair and sat down on it crossing her legs as she sat, this action caused her towel to ride higher and give me a good view of her creamy thighs.

“Eyes up here pretty boy” she said.

I raised my eyes to meet hers and the look I saw in them was not the one I had seen in her eyes since I had met her, the look in her eyes was hard and steely and it sent a shiver running up my spine.

“Are you involved in any form of illegal business or something that is against the law in any way?” she asked.

I would have laughed thinking it was some sort of joke but the look on her face told me that she was far from joking and she was actually serious.

“I am sorry but what on earth are you talking about right now?” I said.

“I said straight answers” Amelia said, her eyes looking even steelier than it had been earlier.

“Wait who are you? I am beginning to think you are not really who you say you are” I said because that was how I was feeling right now and I was thinking if I had somehow gotten myself in some sort of trouble.

“I really need you to answer me Sean, do not make this any more complicated than it already, just give me an answer because I really need to know” she said.

I noticed that her eyes had softened and I saw a silent plea in her eyes, it was a plea for something I had no idea about but I decided to get to the bottom of whatever the hell it was that was happening right now.

“I believe I already told that I own a chain of pharmaceutical companies around the world but it seems like you do not believe me so I will say it again, I am a pharmacist and I come from a family of Pharmacists and our family business has been around for ages and you are welcome to research on all that if you want to and I can assure you, you will not find anything shady so go ahead, I definitely will not be the one to stop you” I said.

She looked like she wanted to say something, instead she stood up and began pacing the room, I stayed silent watching her all the while thinking about how I could find a way to get out of here, I was really beginning to regret declining to have bodyguards.

“If what you say is true then why did I get your name? Why did your name come up? If you are not some sort of bad guy then your name would never had come up” she said when she finally stopped pacing and turned to look at me.

I could see that her eyes were wild and she was really confused about whatever was going on right now.

Against my better judgment, I stood up and walked over to her, she did not step away from me not even when I stood before her, I looked into her eyes and then said “I promise you Amelia, I am not a bad guy, I am a simple guy and I swear I am not in involved in any form of illegal business and I do not take part in anything outside the confines of the law, I swear”

She looked up at me and I could see the internal war going on in her mind, I should have been worried, I should have demanded to know what the hell was going on and who the hell she was but instead, I wanted her to believe me that I was a good guy and more than that, I wanted her to smile just like she had done yesterday.

“Trust me Amelia, I am not a bad guy, I am a good guy, I promise” I said and took her hands in mine, giving them a gentle squeeze.

It looked like she was beginning to believe me and like I was getting through to her and then all of a sudden, she pulled her hands out of mine and stepped several steps away from me.

“Stay away from me, as far as you and I are concerned, you never met anyone like me and I never existed in your life, if you go to any private investigator or the police to have them investigate me, I will come back and when I do, I promise you, I will not hesitate to kill you” she said and before I could react to those words, she had gathered her stuffs and was out the door so fast that it seemed like she had never being there in the first place.

I stood there for heaven only knows how long wondering what the hell had just happened and who on earth that woman was and most importantly, why on earth did I want to see a woman who just threatened to kill me again? I should be glad that she was gone but instead, I really wanted to see her again and find out who really she was.

Perhaps, I was crazy but I will find her no matter what.
