Nathalie’s point of view As we arrived at the restaurant Wasserturm I was happy to be surrounded by friends and family. I had missed Emily a lot, and although we spoke every few days, it was not the same as having my friend alongside me. I was excited as the new stock had arrived, so was going to meet with Santiago on Friday morning before the first practice. I needed to watch but had decided it best to hide in the garage unit rather than pit box. I did not want Sab to see how utterly terrified I was, he needed his focus on the bike, and on his fitness, and if he had any inkling of how I was really coping he would be distracted worrying about me, worrying about him.
