The Last Massimo

Chapter 2

If it weren't for the Royals, Thyzo won't be going in Sonora City, Ambrosé other coven located at Sonora. He grunted while he is in a car so that they won't attract humans. He's also dressed casual because of their outside jobs.

"You have gone quite hot headed cousin." Ivan stated what he notice of Thyzo's actions and attitude. And Thyzo just sighed and looked at his cousin direct in the eyes.

"You know how much I hate those royals, even though it is rumored that the heir to the Massimo's are still out there they declared that vampire dead, and addition to that they keep ordering us like we are their slaves." He blurted out pissed but what confuses Ivan is his first statements. Thyzo hates the Royals for how they treat every vampire but he's shocked that his cousin is interested to the heir of the Massimo's.

Massimo Coven are now no more because of the war hundreds of years ago. So the remaining members of the coven moved to their allied covens. Rumor has it that the heir of the coven is still alive. It is because one of the good Royals has a supernatural power related to the Massimo's. He said that this past weeks he had a sense of a powerful Massimo bloodline. But the leading Royal, Kearne Eleazar declared the vampire dead because they don't believe that Heron Draco has supernaturals bestowed to him by the Goddess of the moon.

"I'm curious Thyzo, you said you aren't interested in the Massimo's heir so why now?" Ivan asked curiosity evident in his voice. Thyzo's expression looked shock for a while but then quickly changed his expression.

"We might have a chance to save every coven from the hands of the Royals if the Last Massimo is still out there." Thyzo explained, dead serious of what he wanted to do. Thyzo's next plan was to look for the heir of The Massimo.

"Well if you are serious of it. I'll help you Thy we both only wanted freedom for our kind." Ivan said and Thyzo smiled. He knew that his cousin always had a soft side for him though you don't want to get to Ivan's bad side either. He's a great guy but he is as vicious as Thyzo.

"Okay then, let's face the Royals with our best attitudes Van this is gonna be a long and boring conference with them knowing there's nothing good that they decide." Thyzo said with a bored look on his face which made Ivan laugh at his cousin.

Celeste now having her day off went to wander around the woods near her apartment. She always wanted to explore forests. She wanted to see if how many animals are there and if there are other creatures there. Her curiosity leads her to find animals that are dead in the area coated with blood.

"What happened here? Is there are bear living around here?" She whispered and froze while fear creeps in her heart thinking what if she suddenly encountered a bear or a vicious creature.

But still she continued walking through the forest gulping each step of the way. She looked around and she squinted her eyes when she saw a statue of a gargoyle out in the center of the forest. Now that is weird she thought she went close to it when suddenly she heard a growl. She looked around hurriedly and saw that it was just a little dog growling.

"Aww aren't you so cute? Why are you here in the woods little fella?" She asked and the dog just looked at her and rubbed it's fur on Celeste's legs.

Celeste giggled looking at the dog being comfortable with her. She then carried the dog with her and walked noticing that there's another Gargoyle statue parallel to the other so she tried moving further to see if she will still see some Gargoyle statue.

She was about to continue walking when she saw two guys walking there also she hid herself in a big bush nearby. The other guy turned around hearing the rustling of the bushes Celeste was hidden.

"Come on Thy what are you looking at?" A voice of the other guy that currently Celeste was peeking at on the bushes.

"Oh nothing let's go." The guy said and pulled the other guy through a gate? confused Celeste asked in her head. Then she looked above and was shocked to see a huge castle.

A huge castle? in the middle of the forest? Celeste wonder how is there a castle in the forest without anyone knowing there is one right there.

Celeste run back with the dog in her hands but after running for so long she got lost not knowing where she was.

The Royals are now seated in their thrones in the castle of Ambrose Coven. All looking regal and majestic. There are six Royals present in the conference. Of course Kearne Eleazar is present in the conference along with Heron Draco, Xamara Draco, Kryven Athanasia, Marley Lazarus, and lastly Marceline Orpheus.

"Lord Thyzo, Lord Ivan welcome." Yves Krouger greeted the two whom just nodded at him.

Thyzo and Ivan headed towards their assigned tables where their other cousin were. Harper Ambrose, their cousin from San Diego. Cameron Ambrose, their cousin from Fresno, and lastly Ivan's sister Ava Ambrose from Sacramento.

"Thy, Ivan glad you made it cousins." Cameron said happily while greeting the now seated Thyzo and Ivan.

"Hello to you too Cameron, so has Kearne already started?" Asked by Ivan while looking at his sister who just glared at her.

"Nope he hasn't they said they are still waiting for the Reagan's." Ava said with hint of anger in her voice.

"Yo chill sis, why are you glaring at me." Ivan said calming Ava down when Ava almost broke the goblet she was holding.

"You said you can't come to the conference that's why you wanted me to be here." Ava growled at Ivan who just scratched his head feeling guilty.

"And for that I apologize the Royals demanded me to come and I forgot to tell you about it." Ivan explained but Ava still glared at her and just talked with Harper.

"Why are we waiting for the Reagan's? is there something wrong?" Thyzo asked and Harper looked at him before answering.

"My dear cousin they have violated Kearne's rule of turning a vampire." Harper said which made Thyzo raise a brow.

"What did exactly the Reagan's turned?" He asked and Harper whispered to him and Thyzo just rolled his eyes hearing what the Reagan's turned vampire was.

"A centaur as a vampire that's already a hybrid, though I agree with this law because we may not know what after effects are to happen to this half centaur, half vampire." Thyzo explained and the rest of them nodded to him as though they agreed with him.

And in fact Reagan's are those vampires whose bloodline are very risky turnings there's lot of turned vampire in their coven that died because of the strong effects of their blood. They have unstable features of a vampire their bloodline are know for their vampire member that have gone rogue because the vampire can't control it's hunger for blood.

"You finally showed up Azreal Reagan, you must face punishment right here, right now in front of the other covens." Kearne said his voice filling the whole castle where everyone can hear his demands to Azreal Reagan the last remaining Elder of their coven.

"But Lord Kearne we promise you the hybrid can't even hurt a thing." Azreal pleaded but Kearne didn't reply and gestured his hands ordering the Elites to grab hold of Azreal.

They then place him in the center which then Kearne grab the whip and started lashing it out on Azreal the screams of him filled the castle as every elders of different covens watch him as he is being punished others looked at him with pity while others smirked at the situation Azreal was in.

Thirty minutes passed and Azreal Reagan is covered in blood because of the lashes. He was now escorted back to his table even with the punishment he is still to attend the conference.

"So as you all now there is a rumor spreading that there's a Massimo still out there I am hear to clear it out to everyone that the rumor is not true and we've done our own investigations towards this issue so if anyone brings it up again will be punished severely.

"Next I want to announce that we are in need of help from every coven to help The Royals in Italy we ask of at least five elites from every coven hunters from Italy are slowly infiltrating our fellow vampires there." He said while the other vampires had looks of preparedness to help while looked like they don't agree with the whole set-up.

"And since we also have Hunters roaming around in our covens we expect you to help us hunt them down we must now act before they act on us." He said with authority to all the vampires at the conference.

The conference went on for hours but Thyzo just look at the from boredly and doesn't care of the other speech of the other Royal's hearing Kearne's speech just bore him to the core. This whole war is getting into his nerves lots of his kindred died because the Royals want to protect their own kindred so they sacrifices the vampire's that are non-royalty.

That's one reason Thyzo's sister died. Since she did not want to be an elder she became one the Elites of the coven she trained their Neonate to become one of the Elites. But that became the death of her because of the never ending war between hunters and vampires.

"Hey Thy let's go rest up at your room here in the coven." Ivan said looking at him with a look telling him that he has something to talk to him with.

He just nodded and they now walk towards Thyzo's room here in Ambrose Coven in Sonora. He once lived there when he was young with his sister Misha. Because out of the five places of Ambrose Coven here in Sonora was the safest coven they had.

"What is it that you want to tell me Van?" asked Thyzo then Ivan gave a note to him which made Thy frown.

"It's a note from Heron he wants you to look for The Last Massimo." he said then Thyzo read the note.

Thyzo,

I've made this letter to you because I Kearne ordered no to talk about this anymore but you are the only one I could trust on this task. The Last Massimo is here in the city of Sonora the goddess of the moon also made me see that you will unveil powers much stronger than what you have right now but beware of the hunters in search for The Last Massimo you will encounter hunters along the way. That was what my vision is about. I hope you accept this request of mine

"In all places you must be in luck Thy the vampire is here somewhere." Ivan said and Thyzo just held the paper with a confused mind.

Why does the vision have to do with him? He thought while sitting down on his bed lost in his thoughts.
