The Last Massimo

Chapter 3

Celeste still didn't went to work today. She really felt sick and her manager worried about her agreed that she shouldn't go to work for now.

"I'm getting scared already I just don't understand what I feel." Celeste said and grabbed her purse which luckily still have some money left.

"Even if I don't feel good I must go to the grocery and buy my needs." She said while her eyesight is a bit blurry.

Her dreams still continues every night the dream she had last night was different from the rest.

She saw a woman but looks so beautiful and majestic. The woman is trying to tell her something but she can't hear what the woman says.

She just tried to forget about it knowing that even if she tries to understand her dreams it won't lead her to anything.

Celeste got up and changed clothes now wearing a baggy shirt and leggings then she wore her sneakers.

Then off she goes to the supermarket nearby once she got out of her apartment. She walked sleepily.

Celeste still hasn't slept straight for the past days. Her life really right now is a mess her complexion still pale and sense of smell and hearing really changed. Her hearing is what shocks her the most she's far away from two woman whispering yesterday.

She must be going psycho she thought once again. Suddenly she bumped into someone which relieved her from her thoughts.

"I'm so sorry." She said embarrassed to look at the person she bumped into.

"Look at where you're going miss." Said a husky male voice which made her curious to look at the man in front of her.

Once their eyes met their gaze locked onto each other. Both of them not looking away and felt like everyone surrounding them arent moving. Its like time stopped and they are the only ones around.

Thyzo cant look away from the woman standing right in front of her staring also in his eyes that are starting to change to its vampire form. Eyes red staring at her serene blue eyes.

Cousin where are you? Ivan asked through their mind link which made Thyzo looked away and in a flash disappeared from the womans sight.

I'm on my way, just got stuck in traffic. Thyzo explained but Ivan didnt replied to their mind link. He used his speed to get to where Ivan is right now.

Still it bugs Thyzo of what had happened it couldnt be, he thought. That only happens when two vampires meet and they are destined to be mates. But that girl is a human. Maybe it's just coincidence, Thyzo having lots of things going on his head.

He is now nearing the place where Heron wants to meet with them. Ivan got informed that Heron had a new vision about The Last Massimo. It was a place only known by the three. Well Heron grew up with Ivan and Thyzo so they have this friendship that really is beyond just being a Royal and Elders.

"Thyzo, you need to find her soon." Heron worriedly said and Ivan nodded to him.

"What did you envision?" asked Thyzo while sitting down on the chair next to Ivan.

"She's in danger, Her vampire traits are now showing if we dont find her fast she might attack humans because her vampire traits were suppressed shes gonna need blood for her to feed on." Heron explained then Thyzo remembered the girl he bumped into earlier could she be?

"Wait I have a question Heron." Thyzo but in when Heron was about to start explaining again.

"What's your question?" Ivan asked looking confused at his cousin who looks troubled by his thoughts.

"Is it possible that she is my mate Heron?" He asked and Heron was startled by Thyzo's question.

"You've met her already?" Heron asked and Thyzo just nodded now sure that the girl he bumped into earlier was the last Massimo. Ivan looked confused as hell, looked at the two.

"Yeah how about you guys also tell me what the hell is going on?!" Asked an angry Ivan that felt left out of Thyzo and Heron's rising topic.

"Well as I was explaining earlier The Last Massimo is a girl and is destined to be Thyzo's mate which Thy already met." Ivan's anger quickly vanished and looked at his cousin shocked of what he had just understand.

"She bumped into me earlier, eyes looked serene blue and her skin as white as snow, and a brunette lady." Thyzo explained not realizing his tone change from shocked to an admiring tone.

"We must look for her right now and take her under your care Thy you must take her back into your coven in Los Angeles." Ivan said and Heron nodded with a look of favor on Ivan's statement.

"Damn it I lost her already, I thought she was just an ordinary human dimwits." Thyzo explained pissed at the thought he had lost track of his mate.

"You do remember where you last saw her didn't you?" Heron asked and Thyzo shook his head meaning he doesnt remember where he met his mate.

"This is bad, we must search immediately." Ivan asked and started changing into his vampire form. Just like Thyzo Ivan had red eyes and fangs stuck out from his canine teeth. And nails grew longer, but his aura is much less vicious than Thyzo.

"I'll try to help you guys as far as I can but you know Kearne has been keeping an eye on me lately." Heron explained and two gave him a look of assurance that they appreciate his help in order to find The Last Massimo.

"Any clues that might help us find her easily?" Ivan asked and Heron quickly remembered about the marks every coven has.

"Since she's The Last Massimo she has to have the mark of her coven already, Their marks are always on their shoulder so maybe you could spot it easily." Heron explained and Ivan nodded at him then Ivan glanced at Thyzo who is staring outside ready to look for his mate.

"Thanks for the help Heron." Thyzo said and also transformed to his vampire form and gestured Heron goodbye and disappeared in a flash.

And with that Ivan also disappeared like a bubble. Heron smiled and whispered to himself.

"Find her soon Thyzo you'll be the key in creating a new and improved world to our kind."

Ugh this dryness of my throat is getting into my nerves. Celeste pissed while drinking water.

She is now sitting on a bench in the park once again staring at the kids who plays on the playground. She is constantly watching those kids because she doesnt remember anything from her past.

One day she just knew that she was working at Mandy's and graduated college with a course of Hotel and Resort Management. That's the only memory she had. So she wonders if she has a wonderful childhood.

Am I the only one who doesnt remember my past? She grunted and looked at the clouds that has different forms.

"Hey miss?" She turned around and saw a guy waving at her and sat beside her.

"Hello? Can I help you with something?" She asked weirdly to the guy with a huge smile on his face.

"Come with me your life is in danger, I'll protect you." He said out of nowhere where he just received a raising brow from Celeste.

"Excuse me? Do I know you? You must have mistaken me for someone else." Celeste said to the man politely.

"No I'm sure you are the one I'm looking for." He said and Celeste really gets uncomfortable with the guy next to her.

"Mister, I dont want to be rude or anything but I am really not the girl you are looking for." She said then stood up and was about to walk away when the man grabbed her hands and pulled her back on the bench.

"Trust me okay? Your life is in danger and I just want to help you." He said but Celeste just bit the guy's hand hard then runaway from him.

Damn she bite hard, f**k it I lost her, Thy might get mad at me for this. Ivan grunted massaging his hand that Celeste bit. Her teeth left a mark on Ivan's hand.

"Have you seen her?" Thyzo asked and Ivan was startled of the man standing right in front of him.

"Hehe hey cousin what's up?" He tried to ignore his cousin's question but Thyzo just glared at him.

"Spill what happened?" Thyzo said with authority and Ivan gulped. Damn he was never like this , Ivan thought then faced his cousin.

"I found her but she escaped?" Ivan said unsure which made Thyzo sigh and looked at him once more.

"What did you tell her? And how did she escaped?" Thyzo again questioned his cousin who sighed in defeat still embarrass of how Celeste escaped from him.

"Uh well I approached her and told her that her life is in danger then I told her to come with me and I'll keep her safe, She refused and said I might be mistaken and that she wasn't the girl I was looking for then she uhm." Ivan paused for a while and looked at his cousin that is waiting for what he has to say with a brow raising at him.

"She what?" Thyzo asked and Ivan looked away before answering.

"Then she bit me hard then ran away." Ivan said so fast that Thyzo burst out laughing.

"Hey! Its not funny asshole." Ivan said pissed at how Thyzo reacted.

"She got away because she has bitten you? Seriously cousin you are the second strongest vampire in our coven and my mate just bit you and got away." Thyzo now chuckled and Ivan just glared at him.

"Well at least at some point we can be assured that she cant be easily be in danger she's a feisty one." Ivan said and stood up from the bench he was sitting on.

"Lets continue the search and still convince her that we need to protect her." Thyzo said and Ivan nodded both went together in search for Celeste.

Celeste on the other hand panting and catching her breath and now on her apartment trying to grasp of what had happen. Who the hell is that guy? She thought. Weird things keeps happening to her makes her more curious of what is really happening around her.

She then went to her small kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and drank it. Once shes finished she walked towards the living room and lay on the couch. She recalled having to bump into the guy earlier. It was so weird how she thinks that it was about a minute or so that they were staring at each other then he quickly disappeared. She thought that maybe she really didnt bump into that guy and that she might be imagining things.

But then again she thought why would she imagine that she bumps into a guy and stare at each other for a minute and more that is just plain weird for her. She sighed and tried closing her eyes but the face of the man she bumped into her appeared so she quickly opened her eyes.

"Oh gosh I really am going crazy." She panicked and walked around her apartment panicking of why she cant get her thoughts of that guy.

Though I admit he does looks handsome. Celeste said but then her eyes widen.

"No, No Celeste get a hold of yourself he might be a bad guy why are you complimenting him?" She exclaimed and sighed.

But then again he didnt do anything to me, he just stared at me with his beautiful olive green eyes. She admired the man he bumped into but she shook her head and just went back to the living room and lay there.

"What am I thinking being so curious with that guy and even complimenting him." She said before dozing off.
