Mateing is a pain.

Meeting the pack.

    The pack nodded at me and spoke at once "Hello Princess Tearza!" All of the sudden a very sweet smell hits my nose. I start looking at everyone, "Who smells like that sweetness?" One by one they shake their head's till I look at the last one staring at me unable to move or speak as we lock eyes. "Mate.." I walk up to him. "What is your name?" He smile's and bows, "My name is Killen Meyer" 

    Someone in the back to the left  pops off, "Great so now he is going to be favored out of the pack" I turn toward the voice, "Who said that?" The guy that said it looks up, "I'm Henry Winter and I said that because I know its true." I walk up to him, "That is not true at all I will never treat anyone different man, woman, pack member or not, nor mate." Henry laughs, "Yeah right you will to while training and pack runs." I get in front of him, "First you don't know me, second I will not, third I will prove it, fourth I'm not here for fun and game's. I am here to fight and protect this pack and my family." 

    Henry chuckles then tries to walk away but I step in front of him, "Your not leaving unless you want out of the pack and become a rouge." Henry looks at Harold and he nods, "That is f**ked up King Harold, she is not the leader and wont be the leader because the leader needs to be a man like it has been for the last eight hundred years." Harold walks up next to me, "I say it is time for a possible change in leaders because my daughter here is the strongest." Henry looks at me, "Prove it right now with me in the field." I smile I can show them how strong I am, "Okay no problem lets go to the field." Everyone walks to the field as a group. 

    I go to the center of the field and ready myself for a battle. Henry walks up, "I really hope your ready to battle." I smile, "Bring it Henry but don't go running home crying afterwards." Harold laughs, "Now you have done it Henry" Everyone else looks to Harold then me. I look at Henry, "What are you waiting for?" Before he answers I jump on him and pin him. Henry looks like he is trying to move but I don't feel him move under me.

     Henry looks at me, "How can you be this strong that's not possible for a female wolf." I get off of him, "Well you see I'm not just wolf." Henry gets up, "What do you mean your not just a wolf?" I look to the group, "I am a wolf but I am also vampire and part witch. I can use anybody's power after I watch them use it." I keep looking at the pack to show them I'm not ashamed of what I am.

    The pack don't know how to respond to what I am. Harold walk's up to me, "She is not really my daughter but I still see her as my own ken. If anyone disrespects her the will deal with me. Tearza wants to see how you all do and react to her because I told her that I think she should be the next pack leader because she is the strongest in this town that I know of." 

    Killen Walks up to me, "I want a try to go against you, But I want you to not go easy on me." I look at him, "I said earlier I will not go easy on you or anyone else, If anyone wants to go against me make a line now. Killen center field." He walk's to the center field, I follow after a minute to let him prep for this battle. "Father ring this bell once for battle start, twice for end battle and three times for next battle." I make a bell appear in his hand, I ready myself for battle.

    I mind link Harold, 'ring' after I did that He nodded and ringed the bell. I watch Killen as I start going in circle, I jump but he jumps same time which I wasn't ready for and we both fall. I get back up fast and try again but as I jump this time he shift and moves out of the way. I glare at him, "Nicely done but that isn't going to stop me for kicking your butt" I jump fast and pin him to the ground on his back in his wolf form, "Haha I told you so Killen."  Harold rings the bell twice.

    I look at Harold he rings the bells three times I get ready for next battle. I just look at the line and notice the whole pack want to battle me. "Since everyone wants to battle me, I want everyone to know the only rule is NO biting! I get bite and the one who bites will be done for and I don't mean out of the pack. I mean you will die if you bite me." 

    The next person walk's up to the center, "I am Don Miller, I really like fighting."  I look at him, "Nice to meet you Don" I look to Harold, he rings the bell once. I start circling watching Don, as he jumps I move out of the way just a little bit and clothe line him and pin him to the ground on his back. Harold rings the bell twice "Never think your clear once on the ground always move after you land." 

    The bell rings three times, my next fighter. "Hi I am Erik Light, I like to hang with the guys." I chuckle, "Nice to meet you Erik." I ready myself for battle as does Erik. The bell rings once, I start circling as Erik shifts and jumps at me. I move out of the way and grab his tail and slid him across the ground. He runs at me, I dip and he misses me again. I turn towards him and run, he moves out of the way. I turn as he jumps me, I fall to the ground, he puts his paw on my upper chest and growls. I kick upward and he flies about 5 feet I then have him pined. Harold rings the bell twice. 

    The bell rings three time, the next fighter walks up to me, "I'm James Winch, Your going down girly." I laugh and get ready to battle. The bell rings one time. I jump at James, but he dodges my jump, then he jumps at me knocks me down but I roll away. Then I pin him fast as I can. Bell rings two times, "I think you where wrong James." He gets mad and jumps me I fall to the floor and holds me but I easily get free and pin him again and hold him down for a minute. "You done James?" He looks at me shifts and bites me. "Duma*s told you not to bite me." Before everyone's eyes he turns to an ash pile. 

    Harold looks at me, "What just happened?" I look at Harold then to everyone else, "I warned everyone not to bite me or they will die. James just show everyone the reason not to bite me by turning into an ash pile, for biting me after I warned everyone." Killen walks up to me, "Why did you kill him?" I look at him, "I didn't kill James, he bite me after I warned every body not to or they will die. I don't know why that happens it just does when I get bitten." I look down, as Harold speaks. "I think everyone needs to go rest and we can start more battles tomorrow if anyone still wants to battle." 

    I teleport to my room and lock the door. I shower and look at the spot where James bite me. But there is no mark just like the last time I was bitten. I find some comfy clothes and put them on and lay in bed. But a few minutes later after I lay down there is a knock on my door. "I don't feel like talking please just leave me be." The person knocks again, I look at the door. "I said please leave." But the person knocks again, I get up and open the door. 

    "Mate please?" Is what was said as soon as I answer the door. I look into my mates eyes, "What are you doing?" He looks down, "I had to see how you where doing after what just happened in the field house" It's my turn to look down, I walk back to my bed and sit leaving the door open. Killen walks in and shut's the door behind him, and walks up to me and kneels down in front of me trying to look me in the eyes. I close my eyes not wanting to see the pain in his eyes again from losing a friend and a pack member. 

    He grabs my hands and kisses both of them, "Tearza I don't blame you, James just likes to break the rules sometimes. Well in doing so this time he did something he can't come back from so that is on him not you." I open my eyes and look at Killen, "Your right but I still think I should have said why to every one not to bite me or they will turn to a pile of ash." Killen wipes away a tear that I didn't even notice fall from my left eye. "Tearza baby it is okay, Yeah maybe you should have but you were scared to say why and that happens." 

    I close my eyes the reopen them, "Killen I am glad you didn't try to bite me, But how are you going to mark me as your mate since you can't bite me?" He looks into my eyes, "I will find a way don't you worry about that my sweet Tearza." I smile at him as another tear falls, he wipes it away again. I look towards the door then back to Killen, "Would you stay the night here with me baby?" He smiles at me then gets up and locks the door when he walks back to me, "Of course I would stay the night with you honey." I smile then lay down fully on my back waiting for Killen to undress some and get in bed with me. 

    We just lay in the bed till we dose off to sleep. Only for me to wake up a few minutes later wanting to bite Killen and mark him as mine. I slip out of bed and walk to my bathroom and splash cold water on my face then look in the mirror with my face still wet. 'What is going on with me?' Suddenly I shift and softly whimper, 'Crud I'm starting my heat cycle the first night my mate is with me, NO!' I shift back to human, "This can't be happening right now, I shouldn't be in heat cycle yet. 

    I pace the bathroom trying to find a way to stop my heat cycle, but I can't think of anything. I shift again and whimper again. I look up into the mirror again in my wolf form, 'I must not make love to my mate yet.' I shift back to human again. Suddenly a knock on the bathroom door make's me jump, "I'll be out in a minute baby." I look in the mirror and mouth 'F*ck my life' Killen speaks though the door, "Honey are you ok? And what is that delicious smell coming from in the bathroom?"

     I put my head down then walk out of the bathroom. "That smell would be me baby, I am in heat and I can't stop shifting." I shift again then whimper as I lay my head against my mate. I shift back to human, "Baby we can't do anything tonight." He looks a bit sad at what I just said, "Honey I want to help you even if it is your heat cycle that you need my help with." I step back, "Baby no, we can't make love it is to soon for me." 

    Killen sits on my bed, "Ok honey we won't make love but do know if you need help with anything at all I will do what I can to help you." I look at him and sit down on my bed to but not to close to him. "Baby I need to make sure that I don't have a child my first heat, maybe not even my second one because I want to be married and mated first I hope you understand." He grab's my hand, "I understand honey no worry, I will wait for you to say when your ready no matter how hard it is to not make love now because your smell is causing a problem in my pants." I look him in the eyes, as I am about to speak I shift again. I lay down and lick his hand. 

    After a few minutes I shift back to human, "I have to find my father and talk to him, Are you coming with me or staying here?" Killen stands up, "I will go anywhere with you honey." I grab his hand and teleport to my father's house. I keep holding Killen's hand as I Knock on the door., "Please be home and awake father." Killen lightly pulls on my hand, "Your father is here, how much of him do you really know about him honey?" I look at him as the door opens, "Hello how can I help.." 

    I look back at the door and see my father and a little boy with him. I let go of Killen's hand, "Father we must talk now before I shift again." Darrel bends down and whisper something to Jake. Jake looks at me then walk's away back into the house. Darrel steps out and shuts the door. "What do you want money because I sure you that I don't have any." I take a deep breath, "You are my father I don't want any money, I need to know why do I keep shifting to my wolf form while I'm in my first heat cycle?" Darrel looks at me closer, "Tearza is that really you?" I smile, "Yes father it me." 

    Darrel hugs me, but once he lets me go I shift again. I whimper then sit next to my mate Killen. My father looks at me then to Killen, "Tearza there is a way to stop shifting but you may not like the out come since this is your first heat cycle." I shift back to human, "Please don't tell me my mate and I have to make love, for this to stop happening to me." Darrel looks at me then down, "That way or the painful way." I drop to my knee's, "But I am not ready for that yet I want to marry and mate first, But I can't be bitten or the one who bites me turns to a pile of ash's."

     Darrel laugh's, "That is because the one biting you isn't your mate, let alone you must bite your mate at the same time as he marks you. It is that way do to who you are." I look at him then to Killen, "So if he and I bite each other at the same time we will be mated for life?" Darrel nods, "But for you to stop shifting you may have to be ready to create a life inside of you during your heat cycle. But if you don't during this heat cycle, it may get worse for your next heat cycle. If you do go through with it after creating a life this cycle you won't have to be on your heat cycle to create a life in you again."

    Darrel looks up to the sky then down to the ground. I look at him closer, "Father are you alright?" Darrel looks at me, "I only meet you one time before, that was right after you where born, but since the king don't know you should go I don't want any trouble from him. I made a huge mistake letting your mother have her way with me, even if I got a child out of it. But it was still wrong I knew she was married to King Harold." I look at him strange, "Your telling me that you didn't want my mother?" 

    He looks at me, "No I didn't I had my mate and she made me so happy, but your mother got me to drink a lot then when she gave me her blood to taste, I thought it was for fun because she wanted to know what her blood was. But soon after that I found out the real reason she wanted me to have her blood." Darrel shivers I touch his shoulder and sees what happened through his eyes after the blood part. I pull my hand away. 

I grab Killen's hand, "I know you don't need to say no more, I do know that King Harold don't blame you. But we have to go, I will be back to see you soon father I love you." Darrel waves at me, then I teleport Killen and I back to my room. I let go of him as I shift. Killen looks at me sad, "Honey I don't want you to feel rushed or anything, I said I'll wait for you to be ready to make love. So don't worry I will keep that promise to you of waiting till your ready to make that move." 

    I shift back, "Baby your so sweet I just need time to think now okay." I hug him and deeply breath in his smell. I kiss his head, "I love you baby, but I have to talk to Harold now, You can come or stay. I won't be long at all." Killen takes my hand," I will follow you to the end of the world and beyond honey." I smile at him, "Okay baby, let's go talk to Harold." We walk out of my room to go talk.
