Nearly everyone's attention was captured. I couldn't blame them. Evan looked straight out of a magazine despite being in his casual clothes.
In fact, it made him even more handsome. I watched as other moms eyed him like a piece of candy, while dads glared at him in both envy and curiosity.
Evan smiled at them, making some whisper with each other. I shook my head as I looked at him. So, he really did come.
Although he was already smiling at the others, once his gaze was on me, his smile changed to a more genuine one. However, as it landed on Simon's parents, his expression hardened.
"Andy's father?" Simon's dad asked. "I've never seen you around."
Evan glanced at me before clearing his throat. "I haven't been present for a long time, but I'm here now."
