Highschool here I come!

Being the youngest daughter of the most powerful, respected, and feared leader, I have grown to be treated like a princess, any races, vampires, wolves, hunters and even witches!

But it gets boring as three hundred years have passed, everyone is too scared to mess with me and that's just boring! I want something exciting! Something naughty! I'm an outgoing kind of a vampire for pete's sake! But I can't have that if everyone were scared of me.

"FATHER! MOTHER!" I shouted as I enter the palace. The guards bow down in instant and quickly move away after opening the huge door. I used my inhuman speed as I search for their scent and to my luck I saw my older siblings, the twins.

"Dude, why are you shouting?" What in the bloody hell is the meaning of this? It was my brother, Victorino, who blocked my way.

"Calm down, Heather. Tell us what is going on and we need to leave, we have a meeting to attend.-

"I just want to see, mamá and papá." I spoke as the two of them crossed their arms, just like how twins act, Victoria is the one who sigh and shake her head.

"At the library.-

"Thanks!" I was out of sight when those information left her mouth as I used my teleportation and stand in front of the library's huge door, the guard was about to knock when I signal that I'll do it, but before I knock, I tried straightening my blouse and tried to make my black hair look presentable, I take a deep breath and before I could even knock, the door opened and my mother's eyebrow raised as she motions for me to enter and I did.

I kissed both of them in the cheeks and just stands there in the corner but it wasn't long for my father to clear his throat and smile at which I happily smiled back.

"So what does my little vampire wants?" I jokingly groaned at the nickname. I sit down at the chair in front of them as I cleared my throat.

"Mamá and papá, I really want to explore the rest of the world." I batted my eyelashes with a puppy eyes at them,which they glared back, it didn't take long for their features to softens though, as my mother sighed and signal for me to continue.

"It's amazing in here and at our school, mamá. But I can't take it anymore, I've studied all my life, I've trained all my life and I just want something else, something exciting, something that would make me feel deja vu, I want that." I lowered my voice at the end and look down. I patiently waited for their words.

"Tell us exactly what you want, little one." I look up at my father who grab my mother's hand and hold it. I was about to speak but my mother beat me.

"You know that we love you, right? I'm happy that you are our daughter and always will, I'm so proud of you, munchkin. I know we should let you explore the world, but as your mother, I'm scared that you get to love it out there and forget about me, about us, about our family." Mother sincerely spoke as her tears started to pools in her eyes, I never want to see her cry. I look down to my joined hands.

I realized that they are just scared that I might never comeback again, they are scared for their child to forget about them. They have watch me for three hundred years, they have seen me at my best and my worst, they love me, take good care of me, they are the first being that accepted any of my flaws, they are the one who valued me the most, they are just scared that I might never look back at them. I can't help but feel myself teared up.

"I'm sorry-

"No, don't be, I know that you have an adventurous heart, you need to be in the wild and that we called the rest of the world, munchkin." I instantly look up to see my parents smiling at me and that made me so f*****g happy.

I have the most amazing family in the world I tell you that, they may be strict sometimes, but it's for my own good, I know they did things in purpose and I couldn't complain because at the end of the day, they are still my family who love me very much. I'm glad that they are not like those vampire parents who put a lot of pressure in their children.

"You can go to the human world, little one. but please, don't overuse your powers, okay? I don't have to say it's a dangerous out there because you are more dangerous." The two of them laughed and the weight in my shoulder disappeared because I really thought they wouldn't approve it again.

Actually I've been begging for them to let me get out of our world, where no human being can enter, well, if a supernatural let them or accompany them though, they can, but I've never heard of it.

"And papá, please don't send someone to look over for me, you know I'm a strong woman, and dude I'm your daughter for a reason." My mom raised an eyebrow when the word 'dude' left my mouth.

"Of course I won't, today we will let you wander around humans, we will let you go, but please, come home every now and then, okay?" I could hear his voice breaking at the end, I love my family so much and of course I would visit every now and then, I will miss them.

"We will arrange everything, and don't say no, at least we know where we can find you, young lady." I didn't even bother talking

as they started using their mind links to talk to everyone, probably announcing my departure. Arranging anything and everything.

"Do you want highschool or college?" I smiled at the question, I've always wanted to go to the human school because of the books I have read.

"Highschool." I spoke.

If you ever wish that you could read or hear someone's thoughts, I would like to say you're getting yourself to some depressing s**t.

I mean knowing someone thoughts is cool, but are you ready to the not-so-cool part? Where you get to see how depressing people can be? How people have weird mind too? How people have suffer? How they have seen something that you wish you never witness? Because that is some serious f****d up s**t.

I've grown to control hearing their thoughts, but I couldn't control the urge to open their veins and devour their blood like a mad bloodsucker that I am, feeding from them til' they don't move, burrying their bodies and pretend like nothing happened.

I could feel everyone's gaze, some are curious, some are envious, and some are judgemental, human and their attitudes. I chuckled to myself as I followed my parents, this school is private and I feel powerful, actually I always feel like that.

The hallway are full of students who are talking to themselves or looking at the new girl, me, this may seems like we are a family of vampire which is true, but we are at the human world and well, my parents wore an all black outfit and so am I, with our pale skin and red lips. If you humans are not naive, they will probably know it from the start, since we step foot here.

We actually have guards too, my parents are here and it was like this faithful guards are stubborn because they really insist to escort me to my new school, in the human world. They scattered around the campus.

"Mr and Mrs. Black, welcome to my school." I look ahead and saw a woman who's probably 50 or something.

"You are the Dean?" I saw how the woman gulp at my father's deep voice, cold and nothing but sounds so ready to kill, even the guards stand up straight, that people is why he is the most important vampire in our world. He's a direct descendant from the pure King and Queen, so basically we are royals, but my father don't want to be called King and he just settled by the leader term.

"Yes, yes I am, sir." The woman struggling in her words opened a door which I believe in her office, papers are neatly arrange everywhere as we just stand there.

"Thank you very much for choosing my school-

She was cut off when one of the guards put two briefcases in her table, knocking the paper that she didn't even bother to look at.

"One, I want my lovely daughter here to have a nice highschool life, two, if anyone harm her, this school is going down, three, give her the best, and four, I want this school to be something exciting." I facepalm myself as those words left his mouth, I bet the Dean is scared of me now. I shouldn't have let them escort me.

"Yes- yes, uh, yes sir."

Dad, that's enough. I mindlink it to him as he shot me a glance and nodded, smiling sheepishly at me. This is not what I expected, I don't want anyone to be scared of messing with me, I want something fun!

"I already emailed everything, Dean." I facepalm myself again as my mother spoke, her name is not Dean, I look at her nameplate, Joy Sasha. She have a weird name.

Her name is Joy Sasha, mom. I mindlink it and I guess that made her realized because she cleared her throat.

"Just take a look at it, Sasha." She corrected herself as I smiled.

"Of course, ma'am. Thank you again."

And then we are out of the school, I don't need to attend today because they still have to arrange everything, especially because I'm so late but they accepted me because of the money my parents donated to the school.

"That's hilarious!" The three of us laugh as I heard the doorbell rang, I was already in front of the door, opening it and was greeted by bone crushing hugs from the twin.

"Welcome." I spoke. It should be always like, vampires can't enter someone's house if they are not invited

"Mamá, papá, our little vampire is really here in the human world. My sister pouted as we all laugh. After the laughter died down, my father's features turned into serious and that means business and I saw how my siblings sit up straight and so am I.

"I know you already know this, but little one, humans can be crazy, sometimes they became monster because of certain things and number one is money. They would do everything for it." He spoke as I nodded my head.

"Don't trust anyone...

He trailed off. I raised my eyebrows in confusion as they all look at me weirdly.

"What?" I asked.

"We have a feeling about you finding your mate earlier." My eyes and mouth widen as my mother spoke and her features softens, I felt it and smelled the most amazing scent in that school but I ignored it. What's the meaning of this?

"So my mate is a human?" They all nodded. I sighed and look expectantly at them.

"And we would like you to take her slowly, human pace, little one." I almost cried when my father spoke, I thought they would be mad at me or kill my mate, I don't know what to feel so I just hugged them all.

"You seriously thought we would kill her." I nodded and that earned a smack in the head from my mother.

"Ouch!" It doesn't really hurt but I pretended. They all chuckle as I rubbed the spot that I think hurts.

"Seriously, visit us okay, we love you." I pouted as they all stands up.

My brother, Victorino, held his close hand at me.

"What's this?"

"Say the magic words." I groaned.

"Oh hail the most amazing and handsome, my brother Victorino." He snickered as he opened he's hand and it made me gasp, it's a golden ring that our grandfather give him.

"I made one of my own and the three of us have identical, I love you sis and visit us." He may be not good at showing emotions but when he does, it always teared me up.

They all said goodbyes, it was hard but I need this, I just hope I find what I'm looking for, have that missing piece in my jigsaw puzzle and felt complete and hopefully, have my human mate.

I smirked to myself as I look at my reflection. I'm wearing the school's uniform that contains gray skirt, white blouse that I tucked in, and the grey necktie, the white socks below my knees and the school shoes completed my outfit. It's a private school. I have forgotten to mention it.

"You look so damn gorgeous." I spoke as I flipped my hair, I'm alone now, but I'm happy, and I usually talk to myself, I don't want to miss the chance of talking to someone who is gorgeous, and that's me. Love yourselves bitches!

It was so early, I don't really sleep, but I'm just excited! It's my first time here for pete's sake! I got out of my normal size house and there she is, my beloved car my parents give me just 24 hours ago. A blood red audi, I've always wanted cars before, but in our world, that's not needed.

"I'm gonna name you. What should I name you?" I hum as I pinch my chin, thinking about what I should name this lovely car.

"Levitina." That's hot.

"I'm gonna name you my lovely car, Levitina." I whistled as I enter it, caressing the steering wheel as the smell screamed 'im f*****g new!' I chuckled. It is weird that I'm already obsess with my car? Or are you normal?

Entering the new high school building. I take a deep breath as I used a human pace in walking, I shouldn't have done that, because humans blood is something I'm addicted too, I may eat their food but it's not the same, I'm a vampire for pete's sake!

I knocked as I stand in front of the Dean's office, I heard them stop talking and the other person said 'come in'.

"Ahh, my new student. Heather Black is it?" I nodded my head as I sit down while the other person get out of the office.

"I'm so glad that you chose this school, Black. Thank you very much for your donation, I hope you enjoy here." I smirk when the woman who's in her 50s spoke about donation and I bet my father have give her more than what a donation should be, I'm spoiled okay.

"It's your mother who arrange your classes." Of course she would, my mother is one of the oldest teacher I know. The Dean give me my class schedule, my key for my locker and a map.

Mother seriously thought thoroughly about this and I'm sure I'm going to have fun doing this s**t, I mean I've been living for a lot of decades and having this kind of memories, I think I should just apply for a teacher but I don't want that so I go to school for vacation.

"Mrs. Sasha?"

"Yes?" She raised an eyebrow.

"I compel you to forget what my father told you about me." I smirk as I let my eyes turned red, hypnotizing this woman and when she repeat every words that I say, i left the room but immediately bump into someone.

"Oh s**t! Sorry dude!" I look at the girl with black skin, she's beautiful and masculine. I saw how she smirked when she saw how I checked her out. I shake my head.

"You have a nice physic." I spoke. Complementing her, but it's clear to my voice that I'm not trying to flirt.

"Thanks dude. Call me Sky. Short for Skylar." I smiled and nodded at the girl and when our eyes met, I saw how this person is, reading someone's mind is my alas, I just want to know who I'm dealing with, and I definitely want to know if they are fake.

"Heather, the name is Heather." We shake our hands. One friend to go.

"Let me show you around." And she did, I could just use my speed or teleportation to know every corner of this school but I don't want to cause a scene and I definitely don't want to be labeled as a freak, well I can be a freak sometimes.

We are just walking around and the students started to enter the campus, their eyes were on me and all I could do was smirk but it was instantly gone when I feel my whole being reacted to a smell that is so familiar. Since day one, that mixed vanilla and honey engulfs me, the smell is so strong now as we neared a teacher's office, maybe a student was in there and my mate.

I giddily listen to Sky as she talk about all the things I need to learn.

"And also, Carina. The ice queen here is Karin." Ahh, I know, every damn school have ice queen and she's a Karin, literally. I chuckled as she pointed at someone.

I look at my new found friend and noticed how her heartbeat is not normal, ohh, she have feelings for the ice queen huh.

"And I also want you to meet the most amazing teacher we have here, she's like the kindest one you would know and she's also a very strict if she wants too, but really she's a sweetheart.

I saw panicked in Sky's eyes and when I looked where she's looking, I saw the ice queen walking towards our but before the girl could get us, a door opened and I was pulled inside it.

Everything hit me just like a strong wind, the intoxicating scent made my system go haywire as I look at the teacher- a teacher, my mate is a teacher? Oh goodness, I shouldn't have asked to be a student! But where is the fun there?

"Hi miss." The teacher snapped at us and I know what she was thinking when she look in my way, when our eyes met, I swear I've seen another set of sun in her eyes, they were the ones golden and I almost lost everything when my inner self screamed.

MATE!

I managed to offer the teacher a smile as she smiled back. My parents have told me that when mates made eye contact, it would instantly build a bond and I don't know what to do when she stands up and walked towards me.
