"Take him to Central Booking." Ben walks over to Harley and traces his finger across her face.
It's more than I can take. The two nurses at the desk get a show as I tear away from my guards and back into the room. "She is mine, Ben, and so is the baby!"
The officers are on top of me in a second with the tasers, now pressed against my flesh. Their second attempt to get me out takes hold. But once we get to the parking lot, I drag them the rest of the way to the squad car, they shove me inside, and get in the front. It's the most uncomfortable ride I've ever taken. I try to adjust my position, which earns me a hard glance from the front seat.
My hands have fallen asleep by the time the officers haul me out of the car and close the door behind me. I'm led into a part of the station
