Chapter Four After a good night’s kip, Thelonious felt right as rain the next morning. Thankfully there’d been no more return visits from Baxter House’s landlady, though he still made certain to lock his door, even going so far as to block it with the chair for extra security. Not that he considered himself a hunk, but it didn’t do to take chances, especially if Mr. Baxter had gone underground as he was beginning to suspect. Mind you, if Thelonious was married to Mrs. Baxter, he’d go underground, too! All of a sudden he felt guilty.
