The knock repeated again.My heart felt like it would combust due to fear and almost on cue the scent and breath of the creature faded.

Only then I did realise the air I didn't even know I was holding on to.

How was it possible that an intruder could enter into the boarder and know one honesty,or was it still baffled me honestly or was it possible someone was messing with me that could certainly be the work of charis and her followers they had no boundaries.

But still somewhere felt it was something else.

Days went by nothing of sort repeated itself, weeks, months and toward it been two years since that night and still nothing I now know my way around the little space without the help of my cane,all my provision where brought in chopped and some already made.

This peace was certainly the life I had always wanted peaceful and alone.

The servant girl would often tell me about the pack, charis was now mated and had left and so did most of her followers it seemed everyone had paired up except me.

The hope of a mate was a dream that had been long gone and I promised myself not to re-open such wounds, it was of no use I would never find my mate no one would want a blind and helpless girl for a mate.

The rest of the day went by quite swiftly and then came dusk,but this time I was by the lake reading, when that same scent and footsteps from two years ago came back only this time.

It was too late for me to run,it was right there in front of my face it breath fanning my face.

Please don't hurt me I whispered as I felt my body trembled.

"Of course I won't hurt you,wasn't trying to,sorry if you taught otherwise"

His tone had shocked me, he was male.I immediately stepped back trying to put some distance between me and whoever it was.

He moved forward and I backward his strong arms held me up and at that moment all I could feel was the sharp electric shock that moved over In an instant like piercing ice through the skin.

"Mine"

That voice spoke again.

It was not possible this was probably some joke because how can I be so lucky to have a mate.

My wolf pacing inside my mind screaming mate.mate.mate.I hurriedly pulled away, strengthening my dress I had out my hands and just like that the moment his touched mine indeed he was my mate.

He stepped closer.

One step.

I felt my wolf whimpering Inside my mind his breath heavy, "You are blind" He said not in a form of mockery, or pity but from observation.

Yes Indeed I am blind,do you want to reject me now.

" You are my mate, I don't care if you are blind or not"

I was loss for word, no one had ever told me that before, that my been blind had meant nothing.

I felt he moved closer his hands, moving but not touching me it was hovering around my face almost to confirm that I was Indeed blind.

When he was done he lowered his hands slowly."Why are you out here by yourself it not safe at this time"

Because I really like the night wind.

He moved closer, too close for comfort.

I gently moved backward.

"Stop moving away from me you are my mate after all"

My heart dropped at the word.

Mate.

The forest felt smaller suddenly,the wind stiffed from our presence together.

I could somehow feel his heat without him even touching me.

He touched me again, this time he wasn't trying confirm if I was lieing or not, but holding as if waiting for me to pull away again.

"Please don't pull away from me again I certainly do not mean to scare or hurt you"

"You are trembling" he whispered.

That because your presence demands it.

"Good"

I frowned a little how is that a good thing.

He pulled me closer until I was traped between his chest, and his hands, my traced his chest, height and that very unknown strength that begs for realise beneath his skin.

This was strange I was brought into a world that casted me aside and now am the very thing an alpha could never deny.

Can I ask you a question "of course anything" Two years ago were the one at my cottage circling and leaving after only one knock.
