When the training ended around noon, Jack immediately went to find Clara.
Clara was still talking to Jason when Jack suddenly squeezed himself between them.
"Clara, it's so hot today. I'm exhausted," Jack complained, squeezing closer to Jason and turning his head to block his view of Clara. He leaned against her like a needy puppy.
Knowing how tiring the training could be, Clara softened and let Jack lean on her, pulling out a tissue to gently wipe his sweat.
Jack hummed in comfort. "You're so good to me."
Jason watched their natural intimacy. His gaze grew cold.
As the field emptied, Clara pushed Jack away and instructed him, "Alright, go eat quickly so you can have some time to rest."
