It was still hazy to me how I had succumbed to Jace's idea. I looked at my ring. It still has not sunk in. I don't know how I would take these all in—pregnancy and marriage, but one thing for sure, I will do everything for my baby. I subtly touched my tummy and smiled.
I was in the middle of laying my design on the table when Brenda squealed.
"Oh my God! Did you get engaged over the weekend?!" Wide-eyed, she covered her mouth in surprise.
