Chapter 4 Drunken Mistake

I laid Jace down on his bed. He is still very inebriated, from my perspective. I can see that he will try to open his eyes, but then will shut them again as if he's trying to figure out where he is at. To get him settled in, I proceeded to take his shoes off. In the middle of doing so, I contemplated whether I should take his clothes off or not, so he would be comfortable. I know for one that alcohol can really make the body hot—that it could dehydrate someone from the lack of water. He doesn't recognize me, so I gather it is better that way; it won't be awkward for us later. I proceeded to take his shirt off. I am trying not to stare at his naked torso.
