Chapter 15 Fascination

Jace was able to pull off this wedding in just a matter of 3 weeks. But then again, I am not surprised at his determination to get something done with precision. He won't be called a powerful businessman for nothing. I remember our doctor's visit last week.
-Flashback-
Because I wanted to be transparent with him, I texted him that I had an appointment the next day. He ended up canceling all his meetings that day just so he could accompany me to the appointment.
"You didn't have to cancel all your meetings, Jace. I mean, if it is for business, I can go alone," I said matter-of-factly.
"I will trade everything for my child, Izzy. I want to be there for your first ultrasound. I want to be there for you," he said with an ecstatic smile.
