CHAPTER 10
"Just listen to us!" Amery yelled at him but he still ignored her
"Aries guy, this is something serious!" Amery yelled again
"Aries Guy! Stop walking and listen to me!"
"TAKEO!" Amery yelled his name making him stop and he faced her
"What? what's something so serious that you want to tell me?" He yelled at her
Amery took a deep breath and looked straight at him
"There is a prophecy, A prophecy about us..the five of us-"
"And you all believed it? You don't even know who that is yet you just believed it, I never thought that you're all fools to believe a little flying creature that works for the DZA" He angrily said
"Now listen here Aries, you may be high and almighty but don't you dare underestimate us, were not like you" Serene said while glaring at takeo
"You have no right to insult us Aries, I know your ill tempered and selfish as your trait says but your a fool yourself for not listening to us and yelling at Amery" Chiru said
Takeo's hands form into fists and having fire all over it, he was throw a fireball at Chiru but Amery got in the way
"Takeo, stop it!" Amery calmly said, He sighed and walked away
"Takeo's got a point there" We all looked at Amias
"What?" Serene unbelievably sighed
"This little fairy just happen to appear out of nowhere saying she works for the mother mythic..who I don't even who and neither do you saying that we are going to fulfill a..I don't even know if its a real prophecy, this could just be a..a trap"
For a minute they all looked at each other, confusion ate all of them
"I'm sorry, I stand with you bro" Chiru said and stood besides Amias
"Amery?" Serene asked
"I'm sorry serene... I'm so confused right now" Amery said, holding her tears
Serene was holding out her frustrations, She left the four of them Amais was about to follow her but the clock rang
"Its midnight" Amery whispered and looked at Amias and Chiru
"It’s been a pleasure and adventure" Chiru said and left them
"Great! Just what this night needs" Amias said and left Amery all alone
"Maybe.. it's time to hit the library?" She said to herself
Amery looked around, there were only half people left, She scanned around to look for the girls but there were no sign of them
She left the Astrohall and went to her dorm
When she got there the girls were nowhere to be found
Maybe they're enjoying theirselves with that Amery decided to change her clothes and went to bed
Mother Mythic. Who are you? What are you?
The next morning Amery woke up around sunrise.
Since its weekends, She wore a purple tee and sweatpants. The girls fell asleep without changing so they're still in their gowns somehow Amery laughed at them
Amery tied her hair, grabbed her notebook and went outside, the hallway was so quiet and peaceful. She looked at Serene's map and looked for the library
It’s on the 7th floor, She went down the staircase
"Where are you headed?" Amery flinched when sje heard a voice coming from my back
She looked back to see who it is
"Professor..I was headed to the library" she said
"You’re studying this early?" He asked and Amery just nodded
"I always knew pisces were creative and artistic mythics but not studious" He commented
"You are not one of them, you like taking risks, you're not acting like your sign, I don't know if its a blessing or curse in which mother mythic gave you"
Mother Mythic? He knows mother Mythic.
"Professor, I'm somehow curious who this mother mythic is, I've heard about her but don't really know who or what she is-"
"And you want me to fill in your curiosities, Ameryllis" Amery nodded
"Follow me" He said
Amery followed him, they went up in about 4 staircase until he stopped
He stopped in a very huge door, he opened it and went inside, When Amery entered the room, she looked around and it was huge
There is a table in the center of the room and a small coffee table and chairs there were bookshelves and cabinets all over, there is also a staircase which leads to the second floor
"Please take a seat" He said, Amery sat at the chair in front of his center table
He sat at his table and looked at her
"You look like you have a lot of questions in mind" He said and leaned on his chair
"I actually do professor" Amery said and he slightly nodded giving her a sign to start
"Who is she professor? what is she?" Amery started
He stood up and looked outside his huge window behind his center table
"You will learn about her when you reach your fourth year, but I guess you're interested in History" He said
"Do you know how the Zodiac Signs started Ameryllis?" He asked her
Oh no! I'm really not into history professor.
"The uhmm..stars? I guess?" He looked at her because of what she said, She gave him an awkward smile making him shook his head in disbelief
He sighed loudly and again faced the window
"It’s because of the universe, The astrology. The stars of the universe collided, The great numen saw that it was a Ram followed by a Bull and so on, he thought as if the universe was telling him, its time for a new realm to be created, so he did.."
"The great numen? The God of All Gods?" Amery asked him
Everyone knows the great numen
"Yes. The great numen created her. Mother Mythic is a fairy who possesses the four elements and the twelve signs, she is beyond powerful than anyone in this realm, she is the first mythic to ever step in the zodiac realm"
"Is she alive? Where is she?"
"She is immortal, she knows and see everything and everyone in the realm"
"Wait. She's immortal, does she have fairies?"
"She is a fairy and yes she has little fairies ones that glows in the shade of white to carry out her messages"
"Where is she?" Amery unconsciously asked
"I don't know. No one knows"
"Can I find something about mother mythic in the library, Professor?"
"No..Her identity is prior to the fourth years and uppers" He said
"You will learn about her sooner or later, I see no reason to hide it from you dear" He said "Is there something you want to know more?"
"President Twain" When Amery mentioned his name he immediately looked at her, his expressions changed, a while ago he was so calm and carefree but now he seems..pale and...scared?
He cleared his throat
"What about the late President?" He asked seriously, looking her straight in the eye
"Is there something about him in the library?" Amery asked
Based on his expressions, Amery knew he's not gonna tell her anything about twain.
"He is one of the President of the Zodiac Realm, Of course there is. You can find him in the History Section" He said
"Thank you professor" Amery said, She was about to stand up and leave his office
"Stop right there" He said, She stopped right in the middle of his office
Amery faced him, he was walking towards her but he stopped having about five meters distance between them
"I don't suppose you're up to something, Ameryllis?" He asked
"What made you say that Professor?"
"Mother Mythic. The late President Twain. You're not doing something to evade the law, are you?" He seriously asked
"Why would I do such a thing, Professor? Do you somehow know what's going on?" Amery toughly asked him
"Breaking the law is a serious thing Ameryllis, It could decapitate you or worse, you wouldn't want to undergo the same thing that happened to-" He said
"Amery?"
Amery immediately faced him, he was at the staircase
"Amias" She called him, he looked at her and Professor Leander, he then ran towards Amery
He was wearing a maroon shirt and black board shorts.
"What are you doing here?" He asked her
"Is she in trouble? She's harmless" He said to his grandfather
"I see that you two have grown closely with each other" Professor Leander said
"Yes. Now if you don't mind, we should get going" He said and dragged her outside his grandfather's office
"What were you doing there?" Amery asked him
"My rooms there" He said
"So you don't get to share dorms?"
"No, I've lived there all my life. Im not about to give up my room in his office not to mention I get to know everything that's happening and gonna happen" He said and chuckled
"What were you doing in his office?" He asked her
"I was just asking him a question" Amery answered
"What question?"
"Nothing"
"I'm hungry. Wanna go to the kitchen?" He asked
"There's a kitchen?" Amery asked
He laughed at her
"Of course, I know every inch of this castle" He said and again dragged her
The kitchen was huge, there were three huge refrigerators and stoves, complete utensils and kitchenware
"Wow. I never thought there's a kitchen here" Amery said
"Of course you don't, Leander just magically makes the food with just a wave of his hands" He said
He gave her plateful of food and a glass of water
"How do you feel?" Amery asked him while eating the food
"About what? Us not hanging out with Serenity anymore?" He said and she nodded
"Well, she was fun to be around and all, kinda bossy but I'll surely miss her" He said while eating his food
"You know.. we can always break the law" Amery said, he stopped eating and looked at her
"I was just-"
"We can-"
"Exactly we can.. wait- what?"
"We don't follow anyone's law" He said and continued eating
"Right.."
When they were done eating Amias placed the plates on the sink
"So? where are we going?" He asked
"The Library?"
"Seriously? you study?" Amery playfully slapped his arm..
They went outside the kitchen
While on their way to the library, Amias was annoyingly humming.
"Will you shut up?" Amery annoyingly asked but he ignored her
"Amias.. you're annoying me!"
She ran away from him
"Amery. Stop thats-"
Before he could finish his statement a hand grabbed Amery, her face landed on its chest. She looked up to see who it was
"Chiru.."
"So im not earth prat anymore" He said "But you are still trouble"
"Amery!...Chiru? Wow!" Amias eyes widened as he saw them, that was the moment when Amery realized that Chiru's hands are on her waist and her head is on his chest, Amery pulled away and went besides Amias
"I told you that was a dead end, probably your dead end if Chiru hadn't catched you" He said
"I didn't hear you from all that humming, Okay?" Amery rolled her eyes and folded her arms
"She's one tough mythic bro!" Chiru said to Amias
"She's hard headed"
"Next time if you talk about me make sure I'm not listening" Amery said, pissed.
"We're headed to the library, wanna come?" Amias invited him
"Why not?"
Amery walked towards Chiru because of what he said
"Why not? you..we.. are breaking the law here, you are not coming with us"
"No laws going to stop me trouble, come on" He said and put his arm on her shoulders, Amery removed it and rolled her eyes at him but he just chuckled
"Stay behind us!" Amery said and pointed her finger on him
When they reached the library, They looked around. No one was there
They immediately went to the history section and looked for books about Twain
"You know if you're going to investigate about twain, the History Section is trash and words are sugar-coated" Amias said while Chiru took the books Amery got from the bookshelves
"Now..the restricted section is much better and it states facts" He said while pointing at the large bookshelf that has a lock
"How did you-"
"Yes Amery, I was eavesdropping on your conversation with Leander a while ago..Now I know why you didn't tell me the truth and I understand" He said
Wow! maybe there really is a benefit if you're the headmasters grandson.
"Okay. but the restricted sections locked, how do we-"
Amery stopped talking when she saw a key on his hand
A really big benefit
The three were about to unlock the restricted section when someone interrupted them.
“WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK YOU’RE DOING?”
