Chapter 12: The Lounge

"No!" Chiru immediately said when Amias was about to give Takeo a chance to speak
"Chiru-"
"What you said last night during the hoedown was enough for us to see what you really are, We don't want to hear anything that comes out of that mouth of yours" Chiru said while glaring at Takeo, they had an intense staring contest
"Chiru! give him a chance to speak" Serene said
"I won't. He doesn't have to speak Serenity, he's expressions already says everything" He said and then turned again to Takeo
"I won't let you near the girls ever again, Especially Amery" Chiru said and dragged both of them away from Takeo's room
The moment they stepped at the great hallway Amery stopped and faced the three of them
"Chiru! Why in zodiac worlds did you do that?" She said. She was frustrated because he didn't even give Takeo a chance to speak, What if he's finally helping them. Chiru is screwed.
"And you Amias, you didn't even stop him?" She looked at Amias, he then faced her
"He wasn't going to help us if that's what you're trying to say. He needed something else, he's planning something" Amias said
Amery and Serene exchanged looks
"Just because you're a Scorpio doesn't mean you're right at everything" Serene calmly said and walked away
They all looked at her, She stopped when she reached the top of the grand staircase
"I'll be in the library if you need me" She said and left
"Amery, trust us. Takeo is not who you think he is, he's dangerous" Chiru said, Amery raised her left brow because of what he said
"Do you know him?" Amery asked, his eyes widened because of her question but after that he shaked his head
"Then who are you to quickly judge him? I know he looks dangerous but everyone has kindness inside them. you shouldn't do that, both of you" She said and sighed
They looked at each other as if they're talking by staring at one another
Something's off.
"Do you have something to tell me?" Both of them looked at her
"We-"
"We're sorry" Chiru cut off Amias
Amery wasn't satisfied by their answer but she just nodded
"I'll be in my dorm" She said and left them
Part of Amery wanted to go to Rein to ask him questions about Amias but another part wants her to go back to Takeo and listen to what he'll say
She didn't want to choose between the two choices so she went to the library to look for Serenity
When she got there she saw her with someone
She got a piece of paper and sat six chairs away from them
I need help! Amery wrote, she then covered the book that she was reading from her friend
You are insane A, Nessa could've seen it. you need to be careful

Amery stood up and went outside, A minute later she went outside and Amery led the way without saying anything
"Where exactly are we going?" She whispered when there weren't many people
Amery stopped and looked at her, her eyes widened when Amery knocked at the door
"Amery? Serenity?"
"You know me?" Serene asked him
"Dung!" He cursed and pulled both of them inside his room
"What are you doing here? with her?" He asked
"We just need to talk to you about something" Amery said
Serene was still confused on why Amery brought her here
"How do you know her? and why are you talking to her?" Amery asked Rein
"Amias, he tells me everything also I'm not the rule follower type" He said and chuckled
"So what can I do for you?"
"Its about Amias-"
"What about him?" Serene asked
"I know Scorpio's like to guess stuff and all -"
"It's not guessing, It's reading" Rein cutted
"There wasn't a time where Amias wasn't wrong about people if that's what you want to know, Reading people is Scorpio's side talent"
"Just like you Pisces can predict the future" Amery's eyes widened because of what he said
She didn't know they can predict the future
"How'd you know that?"
"Eavesdropping and Living in this castle for about nine years has its advantage" He said as if he was cool
"How about Aquarius?" Serenity asked him
"Not a fan of other elemental classes, Sorry Serenity"
"Its fine"
"But trust me when I say that Amias and the Taurus guy make a pretty good team, If there's something that they told you believe it cause they..well they care for the both of you"

"Serenity, are you sure about this? what if Amias and Chiru are right?" Amery said as she was about to knock
"Peace of Mind" She said and knocked
"Serenity. Amery" He said and looked away "You shouldn't be here" He coldly said
"Were willing to listen to you" Serene said and without permission she went inside so Amery followed her
"So? What is it? And why did Chiru and Amias-"
"Don't trust you" Amery cut off Serene
"I-I want to help" He whispered
Their eyes brightened because of what he said, Serene also had a huge smile on her face
"Really?" Amery said
"Why the sudden change of mind?"
"I.." He paused
"Nothing, I now know who you're talking about and I believe you"
Amery felt that something is off but she chose to ignore it
"Serenity! Ameryllis!"
The guys hurriedly ran to them and placed the girls behind them.
"What are you doing here?" Chiru angrily said facing them
"It's Alright" Amery tried to calm him down "Takeo wants to help us now" she said
"Chiru, calm down. We just wanted to hear him out" Serenity said
"Is that true?" Amias asked Takeo and he nodded
Amias and Chiru exchanged looks and turned to them
"We found something interesting here in the castle" Amias said and exited the room he was then followed by Chiru and Serenity
Amery went to the door but when she noticed that Takeo isn't moving an inch she went back to him
"Come on, you're coming with us" Amery said and smiled at him
He looked mesmerized at first but then he shook his head and went back to his usual look
"Maybe your boyfriend and ex boyfriend wouldn't want me to come" Amery gave him confused face because of what he said
Ex boyfriend? What the hex?
"What are you talking about?" Amery said but he just looked away
She grabbed his Arm waiting for her to get burned but to her surprise she didn't, Amery looked at him and he seems shock because of what she did
Amery dragged him outside and followed the others
"Why did you have to bring him?" Chiru asked while facing at the hallway
"He's one of us" Amery said
"Really? Or is it something else" He said
"What do you mean?" Amery asked him, he stopped and turned around
"Why are you holding his arm?" He said, Amery immediately got her hands from Takeo's arm and distanced from him
Chiru grabbed then her and pushed her towards Amias
"You can come but don't go near..near the girls" He said and continued walking
She was about to look at Takeo but Amias put his arm on her shoulder
"You wouldn't want to be on a Taurus' bad side" He whispered
Amery rolled her eyes at him
"Where exactly are we going?" Serene asked
Serene observed their paths, It's very unfamiliar and it looks like it's the same path they took as before
"I've never seen this place on the map before" Serene said
"That's because this place is off limits to everyone, even leander doesn't this place" Amias said
Chiru then stopped at a huge wooden brown door, Serenity tried to push it but it didn't open
"What's this place?" Serenity asked
"The only place where we have freedom" Amias said and took his arm from Amery's shoulder
"It's locked" Amery said
"Do you know how to open it?" Serene asked
"Look at this" Chiru said and pointed at the door
They all looked at it except Takeo whose still standing while his hands are on his hood pocket, It has a water, air, fire and earth symbol.
"Serenity, ideas" Amias turned to Serene
"I don't really know" Serene said
"Let me try" Amery said and banged the door but it didn't open
They heard Takeo chuckle because of what she did, Amery looked at him but he was looking at the door
"Already did that A" Amias said
"Maybe there's a key" She suggested
"There's no keyhole" Chiru said
"I think Amery is right" Serene said
"Told you" Amery proudly said to Chiru
"The keyholes are those" Serene said and pointed at the four symbols
"So where are we supposed to find a key?" Chiru asked having us silent
All of them looked at Takeo because he moved from his spot and went besides Serene who was at the front of the door
"Yes?" Serene asked him but he didn't answer instead he blasted the door with flames
The fire symbol lit up as he was blasting the door with fire, He then stopped and the symbol went back to its original color
"How did you- nevermind let's do that" Serene said
Chiru stood besides Takeo while
Chiru and Serene looked at Amery and Amias.
"You do it" Amery said to Amias and he nodded
He stood between Serene and Takeo, The four of them blasted the door and the symbols lit up after that the door slightly opened and they stopped. Amery pushed the door and it completely opened
They stepped inside, the room was huge it was like a lounge room, it has a fire place, huge bookshelves, huge couches and a huge space, it also has two staircase by the huge window that has a curtain
"Welcome to Crystallite Academy's f*******n Lounge" Amias said
"Is that even a thing?" Amery asked
"It is now" He said and laughed
Serenity went upstairs
There were 5 doors, She opened all of them, they were all bedrooms
"Hey! Serene get down here" Chiru said and she immediately went downstairs
When she got down the curtains of the huge window were on the sides apparently it wasn't a huge window but another door, It was a huge space like a training ground.
"What exactly is this room?" Serene asked in amazement
"This could be our own place" Chiru said while looking at them
Amery stepped inside the huge space but when she was about to go to the center, A huge wind was coming in her way. Still Inexperienced and didn't know what to do she just dodged it but then a couple of rocks was about to hit her but she threw a water bubble and made them disappear, She looked at her left side and saw a fireball approaching her but she quickly made a water shield as her shield dropped there was a huge wave going towards her
What can water beat if you're water.
It's getting near.
She was panicking

That's it!
Amery controlled the water, She made it into a huge water ball before making it disappear
Meanwhile the three clapped because of what they saw, Amias and Chiru were clapping while Serene had a mesmerized face
"That's so cool" Serene said
"Did you do that?" Amery asked them
They shooked their heads
"Then who did?" Amery asked again
"Maybe this is a training ground for everyone" Chiru said
"Of course, Crystallite Academy was founded before the Law was legalized, Maybe this is where they used to train" Serene said
"Crystallite really knows how to hide chambers huh" Amias said "I didn't even know this place existed"
"How did you find it?" Takeo asked
"Right, how did you find this place?" Serene asked too
If this place is hidden then how did these two find it?
Amery analyzed the map and this place wasn't even written on it.
