**Three days later**
“Any news on Emma?”
I ask Patrick
And I hear his long breath
“We are looking for her, Jules.
I'm sure we would find her soon”
He answers and excuses himself as he ends the call..
“What happened?”
Aunt Tammy asks.
And I sigh..
“No news.
I'm so worried, Tammy.
I should have done something earlier.
What if something happens to her?
What if it's too late?”
My eyes dwelled up.
As I sat down
Feeling my knees weak
“It wasn't your fault Julia.
Don't take the guilt.
And I'm sure Emma is fine”
She tried to console me..
But my phone rang again
It was mom
And just seeing her name on the screen, rose my worries
“Isn't she home?”
I asked Tammy
