Chapter 4 ( Noah POV )

"You okay man? "

Zen rushes up to Zander to check to see if he is okay. "I'm fine if Kai wanted to kill me, she could've good thing I'm not Noah she hates him" I roll my eyes.

"She doesn't hate me she doesn't know how to place the feelings that deal with me yet,"

Zayvier laughs. "Yea that's it she hates you bro-" Zen cuts Zayvier off. "No he's right I felt her energy towards him she wants to hate him but she can't that was even before the mate bond which doesn't bother her cause she shuts her self off she has that shield up that blocks it, the only reason I can tell now Is because she had it down at the moment, she wasn't thinking until Noah came in and calmed her down that's when she put it back up"

I look at Zen in confusion if she has her shield down that means the mate bond would've affected her but at what point did she put her shield back up? "Can you tell when she put her shield back up Zen? "we started picking up the little stuff that was dropped when Kairo attacked Zander. "Nope I can’t but Zander can he can read Kairo like an open book" Zander sighed. You can tell he was worried about something.

We finally moved everything to the new room. I turn to see Zander putting up Kairo's clothes. Zander knows Kairo inside and out. The other brothers pay attention, but if I need to know something, Zander is my guy.

"So Zander the headmistress tells me that when Kairo and I leave the academy your coming with us" Zander looks at me and smiles. "Yea since I'm closest to her I volunteered I mean Zen and Zayvier did too but Dad appointed Zen to be the packs Alpha and Zayvier the Beta they mostly did it to get out of responsibility so it didn't bother me to go plus I'm Kairos favorite so she was happy with that"

Zander shrugged his shoulders and continues to put up the clothes as I start to detangle the lights that came from Kairo room I like Zander we been cool since kindergarten my father wanted me to pick somebody that I am close with to be my beta my second in command and Zander would be the ideal person and it is a bonus that he is Kairos brother.

"I'm worried about Kairo Noah "I look up at Zander to see him looking at me. I raised my eyebrows to let him know I'm listening. "Ever since last night before the party, she has been on edge I came into her room and it was ice cold like it was a walk-in freezer then in the hall with me her eyes froze over it was like I was staring death in the face but I knew she wouldn't hurt me"

I sigh mainly because I saw her eyes when I grabbed her hand after she kicked Zander to the wall I saw my self-frozen in the middle of a snowstorm with eyes looking dead at me is it a memory of a thought she had? can she share her memories like that? one thing is for sure, I didn't like it.

"Maybe she gets to a point where her anger gets to her or her nerves maybe it's a part of abilities that is growing that she has yet to get a handle on." I shrug my shoulders, wishing I had an honest answer.

"I didn't mean what I said about Kai hating you. She's just hurt. You stopped talking to her without an explanation and then ignoring her afterward, what I mean is come clean to her, you know for sure where you stand in her life now , she can't ignore you forever."

I chuckle and shake my head yea she can ignore me forever she's Kairo. Though He has a point. I didn't mean to intentionally hurt her; my father was the one who wanted me to stop seeing her for the sake of my mate "no attachments," my father always said, that's the thing I never saw her as an attachment. I always had a feeling Kairo was my mate ever since I met her. I've always been drawn to her. I wanted to be close to her. It was the fact that everything was so simple with her. She made my worries go away. I loved her. The sound of glass dropping broke my thoughts. I look to see Zander looking at me and run out of the room. I threw the lights on the bed and ran after him.

Running towards the corridor you see a whole bunch of students crowded around you can't even see what's going on " Zander whats going on ? " I turn to look at him he shakes his head in disbelief I smell her Kairo but something doesn't feel right " Everybody get to class now or its silent hall for every body that is still standing in this corridor " You can hear the Head Mistress voice booming in the corridor its something serious if it's her and Alpha Klaus coming down so it does have something to do with Kairo the students, of course, start to scatter leaving a clear path to Kairo laying on the ground my eyes widen in shock to what I see laying on the ground beside her " Her wolf seperated its self from her ?" I recognize that wolf anywhere her midnight blue coat with white markings that's her wolf " Kairo ! " Zavier and Zen run to her moving me and Zander out of the way " Thalia are you okay ? " I look at Thalia she looks terrified but Catalina and Klaus look different they are too calm about this like it’s normal for them.

" she just started screaming in pain she complained about her body burning i couldn't touch her i figured she was in heat but she wasn't and Noah wasn't anywhere near her then she collapsed"

I look at her parent's faces and Klaus doesn't look phased Neither does Catalina " She will be fine " Catalina says approaching the wolf placing her hand on its fur transporting where ever she sent it to most likely our room she looks at Klaus as he heads to pick up Kairo he scoops her up likes shes a feather so light he turns to me " take her " he places her in my arms she is light shes also super cold but she isn't dead she's breathing she looks peaceful.

" put her on my back I'm running home you and the boys and thalia follow me there do yall understand"

" dad we have a car cant we put her in the car " Zen has a point there's no need in running with her what if something happens " Do what your father told you to i have to finish things up here i will meet you back at the house " Catilina said pointing at Zen

" You guys are acting like this is normal none of this is normal she dosent have her wolf her wolf manifested its self in its own physical fo-" " Zen shut the hell up ! you might be the next Alpha but i am still your mother and he is still your Alpha and your father show some respect do you understand me ?" Catalina's voice held some venom to it I've never seen this side of her she's worried you can tell, Klaus only has the answers she doesn't she played it off well in the beginning but her hand is starting to show Klaus shifted into his wolf it was quick his black wolf always intimidated me for some reason my father's wolf doesn't intimidate me like klaus's does i quickly place Kairo on his back and watch him sprint with Zander and Zaviyer right behind them me and Zen stare and each other for a while and we Shifted into our wolves and followed closely behind them.

Walking in the basement in the Alpha house to see Kairo laid out on the couch, their basement is huge with an old fashioned feel to it I look over to the corner to see Kairos wolf laying in the corner " the reason why you guys are here is because Kairo Ascended " everybody looks confused

" Kairo is not a normal wolf " i look at Klaus in utter confusion " Kairo is the daughter Sanatna Frost his Family is the only family that has the abilities Kairo possesses and i only say this now because he has trusted me to protect and raise her. what is happening to her now is she has reached the peak of her power so she has ascended”

My mouth drops Kairo doesn't know a thing her whole life she has been known as Catlina as her mother and Klaus as her father but all that is about to change, her life as we she know its is about to crash and unfortunatly i have a front row seat to the madness i look over at kairo laid out on the couch " Im telling you this now Noah cause you are her mate and this is gonna be a huge change for you now that she has ascended Santana will reveal him self"

" what do you mean reveal himself"

"Have you not heard the Stories about the Ascendents they are basically gods in their own right especially in the super natual world as far as wolves go they have the ability to detach from the wolf and manifest thier wolf to physical form insted of transforming and their power is beyond us"

"I've heard of them once they even surpass the royal family but nobody heard from them in ages"

" That's because of the royal family ... your family has wiped them out all except Santana, Santana has his ways about him he can be evil and vindictive but all in all he cares about his family, he wanted to keep his children out of harms way and we needed a daughter but now she's going to need you now more than ever to help her through this"

He's right now is the time I have to prove myself to her that I can be there for her through this. But what does this mean for me ? I never knew what my family has done but if she hates me now she will hate me forever especially when she learns the truth.
