It's almost time for the party, Thalia left me to finish getting ready so she can get ready, looking at my reflection in the mirror, my eyes dead set on mine my eyes go from lightish blue to icy white. Ice starting to cover the mirror on my vanity a knock at the door breaks me out of my trance I try to move but my hands are stuck to the vanity I retract the ice on my vanity freeing my hands I go to open the door, and Zander is staring dead at me.

"Hey are you okay it was getting chilly out here "I open the door to move out the way to let him in he sits on the bed "You look nice sis, mom always comes through." I look at Zander "Thanks & it's my nerves "

"Nerves? what are you nervous about you're the same girl that broke Liam's Leg earlier "

I snap my head at Zander. "It's going around the school Zen told everybody Liam's fine now, him and Zen are cool now, I guess "

I nodded my head. I get up to look in the mirror; the dress is slick and black, hugging my melanated skin tight and stopping at the knees. The dress has a cape; the inside is satin with midnight blue, and the outside is black trailing down to create a train then dark blue heels with a diamond choker.

"It's nothing, something that's probably never going to happen" I turn to my brother with a smile plastered on my face "you ready "I hold my hand out to my brother. My brothers have a love-hate relationship with the fact I'm a jumper. I can go anywhere I want to and take them, or whoever is with me as long as they are touching me they love they can go places but hate how it feels, It’s like your nothing but air smoke which is ironic for Zayvier since he is an Air Elemental.

"Oh no why can't we just walk we are just going to the school's corridor "

I shrug my shoulders. "It's faster "my brother shakes his head. "Nope, you can jump to the corridor all you want I'm walking I have to pop in on a friend "I shrug my shoulders. I look to grab my keys and my cell phone "lock-up will you "was the last thing I said to my brother before leaving him in my room.

Jumping to the corridor, I pop up between my mother and father, who noticed I was there. Some say it's like a chill that gives me away; some people say a cold breeze but isn’t it the same? I don't care what it feels like to them as long as I get where I want to go. I look around to see the corridor decorated with the huge number 17 in the middle. The whole corridor is packed with about 200 people. The DJ is playing "Positions "By Arianna Grande multi-color lights lighting up the space. My mom turned to me.

"Hello darling you look stunning, Darling doesn't she look amazing?" my mother looked at my father getting him to look at me. He kisses me on the head, "You always look amazing princess " reassuring my dad has a special knack for it; he can make anybody feel secure, his team, mom, the boys, and me.

Smiling because I know my dad means it, he would tell me if it was something he didn't like. But this isn't what my dad is focused on.

"Thank you, daddy Zander is on his way, he said he wanted to walk to the corridor" I shrug my shoulders.

"Your jumping ability is a very unique sweetheart and it's a good fit for you, not your brothers if they want to walk let them if they want to run let them if they want to buy a plane ticket and ride on a plane while you're already at the summer home in England let them "me and my dad chuckle.

"Well, your other brothers are down there having fun go on "my mother grabs my shoulders to guide me from between them towards the steps because she knows I'm stalling. I roll my eyes and head down the steps to walk through the crowd of people dancing to the music playing. As people wave or smile at me, I feel a hand grabbing my arm. I turn to see Liam. He looks defeated and sad, and that's weird for Liam, considering he beat my brother up. I pull my hand from his grip and nudged my head towards to exit with the double doors; he nodded his head.

"what now Liam? "

"You look nice " you can hear the nervousness in his voice.

"Thank you and I'm sorry for earlier- "

"I deserved it trust me I can be a bit of a douche bag, and I know you haven't forgiven me for what I did to Icey but my leg is healed up so no hard feelings."

I nod my head; maybe Liam is not that bad after all, but for Iceyy sake, when she has forgiven him, I will also "Icey is your mate you need to figure that out on your own Alpha Liam."

A sudden wave of lavender and honey hits my nose; the smell is intoxicating. "Do you smell that?" walking away from Liam to open the double doors, "I don't- "I open the doors leaving him. In the hallway, I look around the corridor it's so many people. The lights flashing isn't helping at all. "Kairo?" Liam grabs my wrist. I turn to him. "Are you okay? "I look at my arm with his hand wrapped around my wrist and look back up at him, his light blue eyes piercing mine, his blond hair is messy; Liam is Tall, light, and very handsome I've never noticed much before because he was too much of a d**k, but now this is different.

He lets go of my wrist "what are you looking for?" I look down. "My mate " I start to maneuver the crowd tracing the smell, but no luck; the longer I'm in the crowd, the more I lose the scent. "You okay? "Liam says in my ear; because of the loud music, I turn to him "I lost it " confused as to what is happening it's not Liam or anybody else in here for that matter the mic on the stage starts picking up noise, I turn to the stage to see my father and my mother.

"Welcome back to Rose Academy and Welcome to all the new students that have just joined we are excited to have you guys here, if you don't know me and my lovely Luna are the founders of this academy, we expect greatness out of every one of you "my father's voice boomed through the corridor he did not even need a mic he was always great with public speeches.

"As you all know I am the headmistress and founder of this academy we will be having exciting changes throughout this school year first those of you that are 15 and up will participate in exams the exams will determine your group for the school year you have a choice this isn't a requirement but if you want the chance to master your abilities and move up in rank here at the academy you should sign up, signups are next week also starting in 2 weeks we will be starting discussions about letting other supernaturals join the academy-"

everybody in the corridors energy just shifted murmurs start breaking out across the corridor.

"I understand there is some uneasy ness about other supernaturals joining the school but trust us as your founders we will not keep you in the dark." my mother smiles putting the crowd somewhat at ease.

"Now as everybody knows it is our children's 17th birthday Kairo, Zayvier, Zander and Zen ". Everybody in the crowd starts cheering and clapping, "Thank you guys for 17 years of fun, laughter, anger, and frustration Zen and Zander-"I start to laugh as well as everybody else. "Wonder and wisdom Zayvier and Lastly a pure miracle the embodiment of beauty and grace Kairo "I start to tear up and walk to the stage, leaving Liam in the crowd my brothers not too far off from me. My mother turns to me, "Thank you all 4 of you for being our children we love you" my mother pulls me into a hug with my brothers all you can hear is the sound of cheering in the background, but it all fades away because of this my family my brothers I know my time is coming soon I just want to cherish this while I can before it gets snatched from me.

Heading back to my room with Thalia, Liam, and my brothers. I didn't tell them about what happened earlier at the party. I do not need them worrying about me in any way. "Why are we walking again when Kairo can teleport us to her room?" I laugh. She has a point but walking and having conversations are better. "It doesn't work like that Thalia it's not teleportation "Zen busted out laughing. "What's the difference? a teleporter can teleport to their destination in a matter of seconds a jumper pops up to their destination in a matter of seconds only difference is the name "I shake my head and stop at my room door "bottom line it's called a jumping " Zayvier with the win I open the door to my room "Why do you have it cooler than the ice queens-"I turn to look at my Zander so he wouldn't dare finish that sentence "Heat it up then since it's so cold for some "I throw my keys and wallet on my bed I look to see a box on my bed with a note attached to it I take my shoes off and put them on my bed beside the box " What is that ?" Thalia asked over my shoulder I shrugged my shoulders and I picked up the card on it

" Noahs here ?? " my eyes grow wide with the realization of what happened earlier nobody else in this school could've been my mate but to find out he is here make it more certain that it could be him.

Thalia looks at me and starts to speak

"anyways how do we feel about intergrating with other supernatural's we know mom and dad been talking about this forever " Thalia and I turn to look at Zen and fold my arms "What is this going to be now monster high? -" Thalia cuts me off "you'd be Clawdeen " I roll my eyes at Thalia, laughing at her statement.

"Seriously though if any we all have little to no experience with supernatural's other than ourselves "

The room falls quiet. "This isn't going to be easy we still have drama with wolves here imagine adding different supernatural's " Liam was right. Although he has no room to talk, today's drama included him.

"So, what are they going to do? clear out the mated hall to make room? "Thalia's question is a good one, but it's improbable. "Why would they, that's where mated wolves go the rooms are bigger, they should keep them there, more wolves come the more mated couples. From what I know there are only 3 couples down there now "

"Well I'm beat we'll pick this up tomorrow "Zander springs up off the floor. "Thalia walk you to your room "He continued. Thalia pulled herself self-off my bed and grabbed her shoes, and waved with her heels in hand. Zen and Zayvier looked at them as they walked out. "They are hiding something " Zen blurts out. I turn to look at Zen and the seriousness on his face. "Why do you say that " Zayvier replied. I also want to know his reasoning behind saying, "Nothing I'm going to bed bro you coming? "Zen and Zayvier get up. "Night sis lock your door "I nod my head as they head out the door. I get off my bed and close the door. This sudden feeling of uneasiness starts to overwhelm me, but it's not my uneasiness; it's him, and now I know how I can find him.

"Focus on the feeling Kairo c'mon, "I say to myself trying to figure a way to jump based on emotion; if that person is feeling this way since it's attached to me, I should be able to jump to him, right? I look at my cell to see what time it is. It's almost 1 a.m. I look down and close my eyes and concentrate on my feelings separating my energy and my emotions from his. Pinpointing precisely who and where he is. The smell starts to take over my nose; I collapse on the ground with my back against the wall or door. All I know is something is behind me. I open my eyes to see that I'm not in my room anymore. I'm super close to him, I try to get up on my feet, but it's no use.

"Whoever you are, I'm not interested, okay " I look up to see Noah stepping out of the bathroom. Topless with sweatpants rubbing a towel on his head, "well that makes two of us than" I take a deep breath and cracked a smile. He turns to me with amusement Noah always looked good, but now he looks like a god. He was always a lot taller than me, his muscles are immaculate, his light skin was perfect, and his black hair is perfectly messy.

"I'm always interested in you Kairo "he starts to inch toward me. "Oh really couldn't tell?" I try to get up and hold myself up against the wall; he tilts his head to the side. I try to back up, but my back is on the wall. I close my eyes to jump, but just when I was about to jump back into my room, he crashed his lips on mine. It was amazing, like electricity flowing through my veins. I wanted more of him. he pulled himself away from me and smiled. "Better?" his hazel eyes were full of concern. I nod my head; I wasn't suffocating anymore; I can breathe. I push him away and my hand connects with his face.

" For 2 years you ignore me like I'm a f*****g nobody and just because you are my mate you think I'm going to just come back to you with open arms "I scoff and open the door to leave. "I never ignored you I put-" I cut him off before he could finish "Notes ? not even handwritten at that I could see if you put a little effort into them but everybody knows about your manifestation abilities, every single note ended up in the trash where it belonged "

"Not all of them "

I turn from the door to look at him. "Surprised huh all my manifestations are nothing but energy everyone you threw away gone vanished, do you want to know how I know? it's my energy I can feel it and each one of them hurt but I've never lost hope because there is one in your wallet "my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach I looked away. "In forgot-“

"You didn't forget cut the s**t Kairo stop acting like you don't care I can feel you I don't even have to manipulate your emotions because I know for a fact they are already there if it wasn't, I can make you love me, and you'd have no choice, admit it Kairo you want this "

I close my eyes as a tear rolls down my face. I close both of my hands in a fist. "You forced your way into my circle and made me comfortable with thinking you worked your way in here you wouldn't leave.but you did bye Noah "

I jumped out of his room to my room at my house away from the academy just to cry. That was the only closure on the situation I was ever going to get, but on the other hand, I'm also thinking, do I still have feelings for a guy that broke my heart?.
