When I got back to Australia I bumped into the man I met on tinder earlier who had been dumped by his ex-wife at a coffee shop near his home. I had just finished breakfast with a friend and was on my way home when we crossed paths. His face looked familiar, but I couldn't immediately place him. A few seconds after passing each other, I heard someone call my name from behind me. That voice paired with that face. The memories came rushing back. "Dan!" I turned around and walked toward him. We hugged, marveling at how small the world could be. Dan had lost quite a bit of hair. His receding hairline was very noticeable. He was also pushing a stroller. Inside, a white baby was not mixed-race. "It's his son, who was almost three months old." The smile on his face said it all. He is happy
