All she wanted was a mate. She hoped he would appreciate her and love her; that he'd make up for all the hurt shed been through from her mother and give her what her mother couldn't. But when she met him, all hope was lost. He already had a mistress and wasn't willing to give up his arrogance. He wanted to love her, but he didn't know how; it wasn't easy to give others love when you hadn't ever experienced it before.
