FIFTEEN AlmaAmos pulls up to the dorm. “With midterms coming up, I won’t be able to hang out for a while,” he says. “I know. I’m busy too. We’ll chat soon,” I say as we lean toward the middle in our good-bye ritual. “You’re okay, right?” Amos asks as I pull the handle on the door. I turn back with a reassuring grin. “I am.
