Samantha's eyelids drooped heavily as she struggled to keep them open. The clock read 4 am, a time when most of the world was lost in slumber. But not Samantha. She was wide awake, or at least, she was trying to be. As she rubbed her eyes, she heard the sound of her lover's footsteps approaching her room. Scott, the man who denied her nothing, had come to rouse her from her drowsy state.
"Wake up, sleepyhead Luna," Scott teased, playfully tapping her head from behind. Samantha couldn't help but smile at his antics, even though she was still feeling the effects of her exhaustion.
Alexandra spun around, her eyes ablaze with a fiery intensity. "Do not even think about messing with me right now," she warned, her voice low and dangerous.
