Despite being treated horrible every day. Janie still managed to work hard in training each day and make an example of herself by trying to improve each day. She could always feel the pride coming from her parents. Even though she was weaker. Janies parents adored her and always told her how great she was doing.
" Oh look, it's the packs trash training to be useless." said Lori.
Lori is the Betas daughter, and for some reason, she thinks she's gonna be the next Alphas mate. That would make her the next Luna.
That would also be the day I leave this pack. I didn't have any want to be her slave. Lori resented me almost as much as the future Alpha. They both enjoyed making me suffer.
" Just remember trash when I'm Luna. You're not training anymore. I'm gonna make sure you serve this pack as the slave you were born to be." Lori said snidely.
" And don't even think about hoping for a mate. The moon goddess doesn't give mates to trash."
Some part of me crumbled inside by her saying that. It's always been a secret hope that I'd get blessed with a strong mate that would protect me and balance out my weak side. But hearing what
Lori said, made me realize. She's probably right. Why would the moon goddess waste a strong mate on weak little ol' me?
She wouldn't. So again, something I need to prepare for.
"Janie! The Alpha is looking for you. He's in his office." said one of the omegas. She had a weird smirk on her face that got me a little worried.
"OK, thank you, Grace. I'll head over."
Grace's face turned into a scowl.
" Don't say my name like we're friends trash!"
Yup, even the omegas treated me like trash, and they were the lowest rank in the pack.
I just turned around and left. Following me was their laughter as they made fun of me.
Entering the pack house. Everyone's faces looked my way. Instantly, each face turns to disgust. Not one kind look in the group.
"Can we help you trash? This was asked by Lori's best friend Carol.
" The Alpha asked for me.."
"Oh, well, let's hope he found a worthless pack to send you to.
At that, the whole room started laughing.
"Thank you," I whispered and started up the stairs.
Upon getting closer, I could hear raised voices. One was my father's voice.
" No! I will not stand by for this Alpha..." My Dad yelled.
"It's already done, George. It is not open for discussion." The Alpha said, "I'm sorry, George, but I can't have it any longer."
I knocked on the door before any more could be said.
"Come in, child," said The Alpha.
