"Did you make sure you grabbed everything you needed?" Patrick asked Gia.
"Yeah. Thanks for running by my apartment. If Kat had her way, I'd be moving in with her. I mean, it's nice to visit, but ... " She liked being on her own. However without a job, she couldn't afford it. "I might not have a choice soon." She turned her focus to the other cars driving by. "I hate that."
"Hate what? Having to move in with them?" Patrick asked, looking over at her for a second before turning back to the road.
"Yeah," she said, shaking her head a little. "I like having my own space, but without a job… well, that isn’t going to happen. So I guess the answer is moving in with Kat." She continued to stare out the window. Money was not the newest worry on her list. She searched the shops the
