Raffaele was patiently waiting next to his car. He had texted Vanessa a few minutes ago that he was here, but she hadn’t come out of her cottage yet. It was the evening of the feast, and he didn’t want to make her feel rushed. She should take all the time she needed to get ready and to feel comfortable.
