Vanessa woke up early, and even though she tried to fall back asleep, she failed miserably. After tossing and turning a few times and risking Raffaele to wake up, she decided to just accept the situation and get up. She quickly went into the bathroom to make sure she looked at least somehow presentable, before she put on a sweater and her jeans and went downstairs to get some coffee, leaving her sleeping mate behind.
Luna Marlene was in the kitchen already, sitting at the table and drinking coffee.
“Oh, you are up early, Vanessa. Is everything alright?”
“Yeah, I just couldn’t sleep anymore, I guess,” Vanessa shrugged her shoulders while pouring herself a cup of coffee and mixing in milk and her usual three teaspoons of sugar.
