Lyra   My eyes scanned the crowd frantically, what was uncle Louis doing here? It had been almost half a decade since I laid eyes on him and even then he used to vanish in thin air only reemerging during feasts. We had never quite interacted but my sudden loss was beckoning me to find him,  after all he was the only family member I had left. Maybe he needed as much comfort as I did at the moment.   "I must have misread the situation here, I could have sworn you had fallen head over heals in love with me or at least my flannel."   My head snapped towards an unfamiliar voice and my eyes landed on the stranger I had earlier  poured my drink on. He was stretching his arm out, his palm opened for my taking. Realization dawned on me as I faintly recalled him asking for a dance a while ago.
