Flashback   She darted her glassy eyes from the door to the window of the physician chambers while clutching her stomach. The second jolt of pain had her stumbling backwards. Thankfully, the bed served as a barricade to save her from falling on her back. She sat down on the edge of the bed, clutching its plank of wood  for dear life. Gritting her teeth, she held her head backwards whilst using her clammy palm to feel her rising temperature. Her body was emitting heat, her forehead doused in sweat. She recalled the physician's instructions before he had wandered off to fetch his instruments  and she had attempted executing them to the letter but all of it was futile since the first instruction was trying to enter into a state of relaxation.  Well that was evidently out of the question.
