Chapter 8: Getting to know HIM

Nathan POV

I couldn't believe how cool I played it, back at April's house.

I had never before felt so confident and had my self esteem so high, and mostly never around ladies, it was like if I were a totally different guy.

- I told you Big Guy, I wasn't going to disappoint you, did you have fun?

There he was my friend Sigma, did he did that?

- Hey Sigma please explain what happen back there and why I feel so different, so confident.

- Sure Nate, listen, there are many things of your life you don't know about, but since you are giving me the opportunity, I could start driving you down a lot of information.

- I'm not so sure I will like to know too much, but can you please start by, how do I have someone else in my head and how is that someone else can speak to me, without any other person hearing or noticing anything.

- Natey Boy I am your Sigma Wolf, that in a way you knew, but what you don't know is that I am a real wolf, your wolf part inside of you, that's why you are the only one can hear me... and feel me whenever you are ready.

- A Wolf, like a Werewolf?  

- Yes, you know you weren't always an Evans and you felt you are different than many people, but since your parents died when you were so young, you don't remember how they were or where you really come from.  I tried to communicate with you when you was younger, but we usually cannot talk to our humans until their 18th Birthday.

-  So you are the one got me institutionalize?

- I'm sorry about that, but  you can't blame me for trying, I could feel you suffering and I wanted you to know you wasn't alone, all I have ever done or will do from now on; it's for you and our mate to be alright.

- Now you have mentioned the mate thing again, what's with that?

- April, April is our Mate, Werewolves has only one mate or partner in their lives and she is ours.

- Ours, I said smiling, I thought she were my girl!

- Natey Boy, we are two in one, I am part of you and you are a part of me, the only thing is that thanks to your past and since you didn't know about me, you haven't let me get out or let me share our powers.

- Powers! are you saying that we also have powers?

- Yep, we got a super speed a human doesn't have, your hearing as you confusedly  had experiment is super acute same as your smelling, between other things you would go experimenting as you allow yourself to accept it.

- So, does April know we are also her Mate, how does that work out with a human, because she is human I assume?

-Ok, I'm going to need you not freaking out with this, but there is something strange about our Mate, you would have to find out on your own.   I just can say that she is not a She Wolf, but she definitely doesn't smell totally like a human.

- And you don't want me to freak out, how is that? 

- I really have not figure it out, but smells never lies, so if I were you, I will get to know more about what's going on with her.   The most important thing about her is that she is our mate and she is attracted to us, so we will have to find out a way to break the werewolf thing to her, soon or later.

- Ok, got that part, about the speed part and the shift thing to be a wolf, how does that even work?

- Well Natey Boy if you are ready we could try our first transformation and you would be able to understand better to whole stuff.

- I don't think I'll ever be ready, but let's do it!

As I finished the sentences, I felt a rush of adrenaline through my  whole body.

Since I decided to walk back home from April´s house I took the walk through the large park that take me to center of the town, where my house is located.

So when my body started to change painfully, I needed to stop for a while feeling how my bones were repositioning, my face had a sting meanwhile it felt it was expanding and my hands and feet growed popping my clothes and shoes.

If I knew this was going to be so painful maybe I'd never said yes.

Although the pain I was feeling, I was also feeling a rush and a happiness in who I was shifting to.

Once I was fully transformed and had a brown color fur on all my body, I instinctively started to run around all over the park space, even between the trees.

I was really happy and didn't really knew exactly why, but it was like it was something I needed and wanted to do, for so long.

I felt free, the breeze running through my fur and hitting my face made me feel amazing.

I didn't know how much time I had running around and after getting close to the center of the town where my house was. I went from roof to roof in a careful way I didn't know I could.

I finally was outside of the small hatch I had as a window in my basement room, since when I turned back I was completely naked and definitely wasn't coming through the front door of our house like that.

Once in the shower, getting off all that sweat and dirt I had all over my body and still feeling the adrenaline of what I've just experienced, he spoke to me again.

- So how was it Natey Boy, I need to thank you for letting me out at least for a while, I wanted a run like that for a such long time.

- Hey Sigma, that was incredible, was it  real or only happened in my head?

- All of it was so real and you can live it again as soon as you want to, just remember we got to be careful, If humans see us shifted, we could get in a lot of troubles or even end up killed, that's why I transformed close to the hatch you use as a window in your room.

- Got it, but why do I still feel so good, like if I am different now?

- Because we finally bonded as one, now you are going to experience all your powers, but please try not to call too much attention on yourself.

- Ok, don't worry I will be the same old crazy Nathan, but I need April to see my wolf, when can we show her?

- Well Nate, you got to go slow on her, we are just getting to know her and although I will like to rip her clothes off, mate and mark her, we would have to do things at her pace.

I got out the bathroom thinking of how Sigma was right and that I didn't want to do anything that will scare April.

I was so self-absorbed on how things was suddenly changing in my life, after I always thought I wouldn't  be never normal and happy, but then I was not anything close to normal, but I could be better than that and also happy with April.

When I went to the drawer looking for a sweat pants I usually use to sleep in, I sensed there was someone familiar in my room.

At the same time Laura came out from the shadows under the stairs, with an inquisitive look on her face.

- Where was you? and what was you doing naked?

- UUhhh Laura, how long were you there?

- long enough, where was you?  Did you start having those blackouts again?

- Oh Yeah, really don't know what happen, I got this terrible headache; I lied, but did not feel ready to let Laura know something that I was just getting to figure out.

She got closer to me, with a strange look on her face, that's when I remembered I still had the towel on and my pants in my hand.

- Nate, I feel you I little strange lately, remember you can always count on me, it's just us from when we were younger, things will not have to change now.

I sat on the bed remembering our years were we was so vulnerable and lonely, we kept each others back and each others company.

But snapped out fast as Laura sat on top of me, facing me with her feet around my waist, look me straight in my eyes and kiss me.
