Storm     The weekend rolled quicker than we anticipated it. It was Saturday in the afternoon. The weather was so fine, not so hot, and not so gloomy. As planned, we met up at my place. Their cars were parked in the driveway as they waited for me and Lulu.   “Are you sure you have everything you need?” I asked Lulu. She was sitting on the foot of my bed, peeling a banana. I just watched her after zipping up our camp bag on the bed.   “Yeah.” She said without looking at me and put the tip of the banana in her mouth as she took a bite of it.   My tongue absentmindedly licked my bottom lip as I watched her eat that banana. Images clouded my mind, imagining things. I had to look away and pretend I didn’t just think that when Lulu looked up at me. I cleared my throat and rubbed my hand
