The Mission

France's POV

We are in the headquarters now. Let me tell you something, we are not just idols, we are the special military group who are conducting special missions for all of the countries' peace. We were trained ever since we started middle school with tenfold of how a normal soldier woukd be trained.

Though Gaille and Lien already fixed their quarrel there's still some kind of tension between the two of them.

"You guys have two options, the first mission is in Libya, you all know about the chaos that's happening there, but you won't fight immediately, instead you'll formulate a military report about why? who? how? and solution. Then, on my cue, you'll conduct your own plan." Director Zen explained. He is the highest ranking soldier here, and he is Sab's father that's why Lien has been quite since we arrived here.

"The second one, is more advisable for you. The other one will be easy for the special group of Russia, but this one, will be more convenient if was assigned to you." The high ranking officer said. There are two special group Asia's, us, and Russia's.

"What is it?" Gaille asked.

"You guys would have to join a reality program as an undercovers to protect Ms. China. She wi--" He hasn't finished his words yet when Daimeng interrupted.

"What!? Sir, No! We'll take the first mission." Lien bursts. Of course she wouldn't like that, she's about to have a training camp in tae kwon do as a participant in the Olympics, and a reality program will surely lock her up and stop her from going.

"SG member Lien , halt. Let the Director finish his word." Gaille said with authority. This is one of the things I admire about her, though we are all friends here, she never forgets her duty as the leader of this group.

"As I was saying, she will join the program as well. A big Chinese gang is after her, they are planning to use her to control the Chinese Government.All you have to do is stick around her while not revealing your identity as special group." Director Zen explained.

"Sir, if you don't mind me asking, how can they control the Chinese Government with just a girl, I mean, the government won't surely put the whole country at stake just for a girl right? Another thing, what do they get on controlling the government?" I asked. I don't really get it.

"It was because, they are aiming for a position in the government. They want some change, and they believe that the change they are looking for will only happen if one of them claims a position on the government. Besides, we suspect that Ms. China is not their only target but the Political Bureau Director Mr. Huang Xangui's daughter as well. "

"k********g Ms. China with the daughter of one of the most powerful man in China will not be that subtle. The government will not just let them walk off. When this happens, it will either be the lives of those two ladies will be at stake or the gang will get what they want. Both choices will stir up a chaos if ever." Director Zen answered.

"The gang has given the government headaches for quite a long time now. The worse case scenario is a total war since the gang is really large in numbers. They managed to gather men by giving them bulk of money." He finishes.

"This plot will serve as the starter fire for a long time explosion. This is like, the last c***k needed for a bridge to collapse." Keran summarized.

"This gang's dream of change wasn't a good one. They want a free pass for deadly firearms and high class illegal drugs. They are also the biggest smuggling gang and own a big p**********n den. Giving them the control that they want will sink China alive. This is Doyun Yang, the leader of the group. He is an expert in long ranged shooting. His right hand is Fei Lousheng also known as Dior, he's an expert when it comes to bombs and chemicals and we are missing someone. They still have one big man in their gang that we have no information of." Director Zen added. It's getting clearer and clearer. But there's something missing, something important.

"Let us think about it first sir. I'll just report to you tomorrow." Gaille said. We gave respect to Director Zen and left the headquarters.

"Lien, control your temper the next time. You were lucky it was uncle, if it were on the other higher officials they won't let it slip." Gaille lectured Lien.

"Sorry Gaille, I just...really want to make it on the training camp this time. You know I've been preparing for it for quite some time now." Lien calmly said. She really loves tae kwon do, and for her, representing our country in the sport that she really loves is even more than an honor.

"I do understand, but we have taken an oath. Still, we have to decide which mission we should pick without personal factors." Gaille said. We all agreed.

"I think we should all rest now, everyone's so drained today." I suggested.

"I agree with France, we'll just meet up tomorrow to talk about the mission" Gaille said massaging her temple.

"I want to fetch a coffee, would you want to come?"I asked Rhy and Lien. I didn't asked Gaille since we have the same address anyways she has no choice but to come.

"Nah, I have to analyze this papers that the director gave me." Rhy said. She is the mind of the group, it's not a surprise she has an assignment today.

"I just want some rest, just enjoy your coffee." Lien gloomily said, maybe problematic about her relationship.

"Okay okay, be safe on your way home." I said and we separated ways riding our own cars.

I'm in a cafe with Gaille now. Gaille has been our leader ever since. She is the most skilled soldier that was produced on the program. Meeting her, will make you stop believing that no one is perfect. By the law, she is my sister, we adopted her when she was 9. She is the only rich kid I know that wants to be a member of a normal family like us.

"France, you're thinking something again." I landed my glance at her.

"Just random stuffs, by the way, what are you going to do about Lien and Sab?" Tanong ko sa kanya. She seems contemplating a plan.

"You know how important Lien and Sab for me, France, and I wouldn't want any of them getting hurt. But this time, Lien's at fault, so I will let them solve this thing on their own." She said, while sipping on the coffee that we bought after the meeting. She must be thinking about something as well since she already took a couple of sip on her coffee. She hates coffee, her body reacts to much to the caffeine that's in it.

"Are you sure you're going to finish that cup this time? You might have a problem dealing with Migraine again, and worse your heart starts to abnormally palpitates again due to the caffeine that's in it." I warned her. She may be older than me, but I think more rationally than her.

"It makes my senses more active. I might have something like a plan come into my mind. I'm not as sharp as Rhy you know, that's why I need this coffee" She said and continued sipping on her coffee.

"What are you thinking about that much? We haven't even accepted the mission yet." I told her. I won't be surprised if she's already planning something for the mission.

"It's not about the mission France. It's about her. I got informed a while ago that she's already officially engaged with that man." Ohh... her.

"Is that how you discovered Lien's cheating on Sab?" I asked her.

"Yes, I visited the house and saw Sab crying. Then she told me why. After her emotion get down a little she told me about the engagement." She said. I'm observing her face. Is pain still there? Does she look hurt? Does she still have regrets?

"Are you still affected?" I asked her. It's been 7 months since they officially broke up and now she's engaged to someone else.

"I don't know, France. Actually on my way out, I saw her, she invited me to the wedding. I don't know how I feel at that moment. I don't really want to go but I don't feel hurt or bitter."She said looking so puzzled.

"Then, why wouldn't you want to go?"I want to know. I've witnessed how much pain she felt when they broke up.

"Because I think I'll become a loser watching her achieving all that we've planned with another man?" She answered.

"Do you still have feelings for her?" I continued asking her. If she says yes I won't even be surprised since she's been in love with her for 6 f*****g years.

"I don't know. Right now, I feel nothing. I'm not even thinking about her until this day, but I can't gurantee anything because whenever I see her, I seem to be angered."She said.

"You probably just hate her because your father chose them and not you and your mom. I think you're already over about your relationship, but not over about your father and her relationship." I concluded. Their story is a very long and complicated one. To make it short, Gaille and Dianne loved each other until they discovered that they have the same father. Their father chose Dianne and her mother over Gaille and her mom, when they were just fetus. Adding to that, Dianne's mother is Gaille's grandpa's ilegitimate child to his mistress. I know it's confusing, but that's what it is.

"So will you come?"I asked her. She took the last sip from her cup and looked at me.

"The question is, will WE come?" She stated that with a smirk.
