'Promise'

Lily's POV

Cole looked at me shocked, I don't know why?

Cole: "No, no, no i will help you get through this."

Lily: "how?"

Cole :"i will be with you everytime"

Lily :"What if he comes at night?"

Cole: "we'll sleep in the same room.... So that he cannot do anything wrong to you"

Lily: "okay, but I'll talk to mom tomorrow when she'll be back from her trip"

Cole: "Okay, now cheer up otherwise everyone will say that i made you cry"

I nodded and then he wiped my tears away..

I can't believe Cole is being so gentle to me ,from my childhood i have seen him all rude to me even if i try to be good with him.

We reached home at 8pm it was me who requested Cole not to take me home but he tried his best to make excuses to dad that I have extra classes and he has some work to do but what we did was have fun all day at a amusement park and he was being the best brother in the world he was looking so handsome today in his white shirt and his black silky hair were flowing in the air.... His eyes are black with curled lashes in which for the first time i saw so much love and care for me.

After having dinner we entered our home he is still holding my hand now i feel a little bit awkward so i take my hand from his hand start searching something in my bad to make him feel like I'm relly searching something than we saw dad coming towards us and he asked "how was you day my kids?". Cole saw him with a shocked look on his face and rudely answer "we don't have to tell you." and again hold my hand and move towards his room then i asked"Where are you going?"

"To my room, I have to take my books to really prove that we are studying"

Then he changed his clothes into a black hoodie and black pants and we moved to my room he was sitting on the couch then i went to bathroom, i washed my face, comb my hair and leave them open then i wore a pink night dress and came out of bathroom i looked at Cole who was really studying i took my books and sit beside him and started studying then i don't know when i fell asleep.

Cole's POV

I was so lost in my book that didn't even realise that Lily was sitting right beside me.

I feel something on my shoulder that's when i saw Lily sleeping peacefully on my shoulder her black silky hairs were covering her face so i made them sit behind her ear then i saw her in a pink dress which was suiting her the best because her cheeks and lips are pink and her eyes are blue that's what i love about her but no one in our family have blue eyes except her how did she have them?, i have to admit it i haven't seen this much beautiful girl in my entire life.

I turned the lights off only the table lamp was on then i heard someone trying to open the door very quietly and i saw my dad coming in he was so shocked to see me beside her and he asked me"What are you doing here?" i said "Lower your voice, she is sleeping and we were studying together, anyways what are you doing here at 1:30 daddy?" he looked confused and he said "i was just checking on Lily if she is okay or not" he got me so damn angry on him that i just can't control, what is happening to me? And i said in an angry tone "you don't have to worry about her she have me right beside her.....always". Then dad left and Lily started moving in her sleep getting disturbed by my angry voice so i took her in my arms and lay her down on bed then i locked the door and all the windows to just be sure that he wouldn't come again the i lied down beside Lily who just snuggled into me as soon as i lied down there and started to come closer to me i don't know why i am feeling this way?, i just can't send her away from me 'i will never let that happen'. I kissed her forehead and had the most amazing nap of my life.

Lily's POV

I woke up at 9:30am then i saw Cole sleeping peacefully next to me then i moved to the bathroom as I was late for college again then i woke him up and he went to his room to get ready. Then i was going to the dining area where i saw daddy having his breakfast with Cole's mother.

I wished them good morning and they nodded to me then i sit beside mom, usually i sit beside daddy but now I'm scared of him so I'm sitting on Cole's seat then Cole came and sit beside daddy and started having his breakfast then mom asked "why are you both behaving so normal? no fights on chairs today?" then Cole lied to her "we have made a deal mom, she'll do whatever i say for one day so i ordered her to sit there"

Cole dropped me to college and then he left for office. I was going to my class and saw Clara walking towards me.

Clara:" Hi Lily are you okay! "

Lily: "of course, what happened to me?"

Clara: "you were absent and Cole also didn't attend office yesterday so i was worried."

Lily :"How do you know I was absent? You are not in my class ." she started panicking and said in a confused tone "my friend told me, now I'm going, I'm getting late for my class" and she walked towards her class.

I was having lunch with my best friend Bella in canteen then i told her about Clara, she was talking to me in the morning very genuinely for the first time , she never talks to me properly after our fight at Bella's birthday party.

Then I saw Cole walking towards us in the canteen he never came to meet me in college, not until now then he smiled and said "what are you having for lunch Lily?"

Lily: "Nothing special, why did you came here?"

Cole :"I was just checking if you are okay"

He sounds so good when he talks to me properly Bella was shocked seeing his good side and said "hey! How can you be acting all normal let me check, do you have fever?"

She started touching his forehead and he threw away her hand and said "Why is this stupid girl has to be your friend Lily? I told you to be with good girls.". Bella just got annoyed and replied"excuse me! my name is Bella Wilson and i have been her best friend since our childhood and what do mean by the good girls? Good girls like Clara who are rich and just talks to rich guys." Cole was annoyed by her statement and i was feeling bad for Cole whom I haven't told about Clara yet. He looked at me... His eyes are confused maybe because he doesn't know Clara well. Then he told me that he'll pick me up later and he left.

I asked Bella "What was that behavior?" she told me "I am giving him a hint. After this he'll get suspicious about Clara and then he will definitely ask somebody about her and if will ask you or me then we will tell him everything and also about how she was about to slap you when you both accidentally wore the same dress at my birthday party" i smiled and said "Okay okay thankyou miss, anyways where is Elijah?" "He went on a trip with his family yesterday." Bella replied to me "oh I see, he didn't told me about that" I said after finishing my lunch.

I was going home with Cole and he said. "Mom(Lily's mom) will be at home by now, don't tell her directly just tell her from the beginning so that she'll understand" he is getting better with me and it is making me happy now, I replied to him "okay" then we reached home and moved to my mom's room than Cole suddenly hugged me and told me "Don't worry whatever will happen i am with you and will be with you forever no matter what i promise you. I am waiting for you here just be confident." Then he left me alone and was waiting for me in the garden. He promised me ,How can he be so nice with me, does he have dual personality disorder??? Anyways I'm glad to see him like this.
