Just as he was about to smooth things over, Laura's voice cut through, tinged with mockery. "Have you reviewed every single camera that captured him from the moment he stepped into the park? Have you checked all the smartphones, watches, GoPros, and other recording devices carried by the other volunteers? What about footage recorded by staff along the roller coaster's path? And have you investigated his movements in the days before the event, or whom he contacted after being hospitalized? Anything suspicious?" With each question Laura posed, Evan's frown gradually eased. "If they were prepared, do you really think his tricks would be easy to spot?
