Danny slowly turned his head toward her, his eyes growing colder. "You really don't want to go to the hospital?"
Laura faced the invisible pressure, nodding firmly.
Danny pressed his lips tightly, his expression stern as he pulled off his tie and sent a text message.
"My personal doctor is on standby. You're coming home with me now," he said icily. "This is my final concession."
Laura said nothing more, stubbornly turning to look out the window.
When she met the medical team, her tense expression began to ease.
When the female doctor confirmed that Laura wasn't seriously injured, she visibly relaxed.
